The Fiio X5 Thread
Oct 16, 2016 at 10:56 PM Post #19,353 of 19,652
Anyone want to explain the first page of this thread? There's an image of what seems to be lyrics in front of the cover image, does the X5 support this? I don't think all of my songs have lyrics embedded in them, but some do. Edit: just wanted to chime in that the Sony Walkman a17 sounds less shouty than the X5, granted the a17 is less refined and could possibly be underpowering my grado magnum v5 drivers

Hi, Nec3
The X5 support external lyrics but not internal.  The External LRC file should have the same filename as the music file. And both the LRC file and the music file should be in the same floder: http://fiio.me/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=39955&extra=

what  MW is Line-Out? the X1 for example says 100 MW Line-Out

Hi, leo5111
It is no output power for lineout because the output of lineout is level output. The line output level of the X5 is 1.5 Vrms (10 KΩ/1 kHz).

Hi guys, it's been awhile since my last post here.

I also have a X5 not used mobile but attached to my tubes at home:

Since I've been out of the loop, I'm still on 2.4 I reckon.

What's the best FW update that I should install now? Is it safe to assume the latest is the best? I've read that a certain function was disabled on the last one.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

The newest firmware is the best, certainly. If for no other reason than it makes the scroll wheel more precise.

Try... hmm. Try raising the low-frequency sliders...?

That will work. Rock tends to love bass.
