I think they are on pre-order for $589.I certainly like those shells more, curious what a TangZu flagship will cost. So far the only bit of detail I found on the Tianpeng is that I believe it's a pzt BC driver.

Right now I'm reading Hima-Ten, Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai, Tonari no Furi-san ga Tonikaku Kowai, Solo Leveling, Chainsaw man.Ahh a fellow otaku! What are you reading now?
I have my hands full with Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, Eleceed, Usogui, Goblin Slayer, One Piece, The Beginning After The End.
Too bad HCLW is not updating regularly. Waiting for the new season of Tower Of God. And god knows when One Punch Man will start again. Kuroshitsuji started again now that's a relief.
As for anime: Kowloon Generic Romance, Witch Watch, Danjo no Yûjô wa Seiritsu Suru, Kono Kaisha ni Suki na Hito ga Imasu. Mostly romance stories. I'm waiting for Chainsaw man: Reze arc to watch in september.
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint I know about this but I haven't started reading it yet.
Kuroshitsuji looks very interesting. I see they released S5 already. I'll give it a go when I have time.

The answer to your first question is NO. The SR1 has been around for a couple years now. It's old.wait... is this the successor to the SP01?
Libra X is good for lighter but snappy bass, but like all the Libras, I think the treble is a tad too crispy. The ZVX Pro is also crispy treble, but the overall sound is more full because of the bass. If you want a warmer, bassier sound, the ZVX original is also still good, IMO.
WOW... I can't imagine having to sell all my IEMs because of fit! I feel for you, bro!
I do NOT have large ears, and there have been quite a few IEMs that caused my ears to ache... That's why I invest heavily in tips, because with my massive "tip bank," I can make almost ANY IEM fit me well. It does take a lot of experimentation though. short-flanged tips work well with chunky shells I find. For instance, the XINHS HS80 is VERY chunky... I use the shortest-flanged tips I've ever seen! [INfilter TPE tips for TWS] and they're quite comfortable now. SADLY those tips are not on AE anymore for US. Glad the package included 3 pairs! Whizzer SS20 and Azla Max tips also are fantastic. But on many IEMs, I can use more "normal" tips like Penon Liqueur or the "regular" generic silicone ones.
Better than the Trio? Some IEM that gets no shine other than..well...YOU? lol A legend vs a "rumor". Though you have hit on a few where I agree with you 100%, this one is probably, and I could certainly be wrong, but something tells me this one is more about the need to elevate the HS80 to justify the purchase, as I've seen your moods about this IEM swings quite wildly in the past, from good to ok, to really good, to good, to pretty good, and now it's better than the Trio and the H60? Never heard this IEM, which hardly anyone owns (probably for a reason), but I'm gonna say, I'm pretty sure this thing isn't better than the H60. Just an on a limb kinda thing.WELL the scores are IN for the CCA Trio and XINHS HS80 Jupiter Rings! This, my friends, was a fierce battle, and I wasn't sure until the last song which would end up on top! It's hard to score two VERY different IEMs that BOTH sound superb. I tried my best to be nitpicky about the flaws, while taking into account the differing tonalities, both of which I find enjoyable.
CCA Trio: 92/100, so high S-tier! This makes it EASILY the best bang-for-your-buck IEM in the UNIVERSE [that I've tried.] Bass that SLAMS, detailed and competent overall sound that doesn't shrink back at intense music passages, and a CLEAR, revealing tonality that just edges being too dry, but stays JUST musical enough to put it ahead of the more clinical Vader Balanced [score: 90] It offends me that such an ugly IEM sounds so GOOD, but I'm happy once they hit my ears.
The Trio is now my #3 IEM of all time! Insane, I know. It's truly an all-rounder, and its big, bold sound, very flexible bass tuning via switches, and PRICE make it worthy of that #3 spot, even if some more famous and more expensive IEMs might have more "magic" and special sauce. The Trio sounds tonally accurate and it just sounds amazing on MORE genres, all the time. Sure, people might get offended it ranks higher than, say, the H60, but hey... These are MY ears lol.
XINHS HS80: 93/100, so High S-tier, and TIED WITH SECOND PLACE! [CK2V].
These dreamily-designed IEMs have a similar spacey, dreamy sound. There's lushness, while maintaining clean bass that could use just a HAIR more sub-bass punch, but realistically, it's a wonderful bass response. The stage is very spacious, and the treble detail is amazing while not sounding too dry or clinical. Vocals are elevated for sure... something that usually is great but occasionally makes a nasal voice sound... even more nasal. It's hard to accurately describe the sound of the HS80... they sound like nothing else in my collection. They have a similar colored sound that is a bit magical, like the H60. [I should really A-B those two for further research!] Overall, the HS80 is a unique IEM that will surprise you the more you listen to it, but remember, CABLES matter here... I changed the cable from the Black Dragon to the almost identical-looking one that came with the Phoenixia, [silver-plated copper] and it sounds better.
NOW... an IEM will need to get at least 90/100 to get into my top 5!
There's plenty of technicalities on the Archangel. Yes, it's bassy. Yes, it's got a warm midrange. but throw a nice silver/palladium cable on it, and a brighter or more neutral source (or the Hiby R3 II), and holy sch**t, the technicalities pop! Now yes, you might lose just a tiny bit of mid bass presence, but you get a nicer balance between sub bass and mid bass, and less lushness, which in this case, is welcomed.A less technical/more musical Origin honestly sounds perfect
Glad you got the balanced version. I figured it would hit the right spot for you. I'm the same way as you mentioned. I do not fool around with the bass versions of the KZ, because every single one I've been foolish enough to buy, has been poorly tuned with too much of a good thing, which ends up being a bad thing. The balanced versions might sometimes, and I mean only sometimes, have a little less bass than might be desired, but at the end of the day, it usually has enough bass for ME.I have received AM16 balanced today (8 days since the order, 7 days since shipped by kztws - nice, a good reason to pay a bit more to them -$56 for the balanced for the records).
Here are the bass and balanced versions of AM16 side by side with the same/matched cable (a nice emeralrs/jade one for the 'best possible cable tuning" from KBEar/KeepHiFi).
The same signature of "AM16" on both- try to find a very subtle difference - your audiophile quiz of the day
Main comparison of the two AM16 is clearly with AS16 Pro X - the previous pinnacle of the same driver count.
Our 120+ year old grand piano is acknowledged for the photo-ops
Well, what can I say in few words - for me, balanced makes all the sense, as @FreeWheelinAudioLuv2 smartly pointed out - the balanced is the way to go with KZ (and I am a bass-lean person for the records). Then, I did read the feedback on KZ thread that the bass one offers not enough bass for some. I can't imagine how it can be - but preferences do vary, as well as tips and sources.
To report mine - wide-bore TRI Clarion got a very good seal for me, and made all frequencies thrive well. Questyle M15C as a source helps a lot with the agility of the bass. (This source may be a bit too much for all-BAs, but I just loved it with hybrids and used for this comparison for simplicity).
The balanced AM16 is my preferred bass levels. I was silly in a retrospective to order bass version first, but is/was very much happy to experience it.
AS16 pro X sits in between AM16 bass and balanced with the bass level for me. The metal nozzles of AS16 Pro X (and many older KZ) is what I miss the most in new KZ. AM16 got a new transparent resin matrix, surely looking nicer, if it is important to you.
Treble is a bit more refined with AM16, as well as the mids are more present with AM16
If you thought that more bass could work better for your AS16 pro - bass version of AM16 will deliver more!
If the bass was a bit too imposing with AS16 pro- then AM16 balanced will do well.
AS16 pro went as low as $35. Is $50-60 price for AM16 justified - yes, for me. If you can snap AM16 at around $45 or so- it is surely a great deal, IMLO.
P. S. AS24 and Sonata are a bit at the different level for me. I thought to include them in the comparison, but they are different - more bass lean, subtle, just a different design for a different sound signature that resonates more with me for its subtledty and refinement, while AM16 is surely more engaging IEM and great at $50 or so.
Well, what I do know is that for $589.00 USD, I won't be buying it. For a few dollars more, I can get 2+2+2+2 ISN EBC80, which is a fantastic sounding IEM, and you get ESTs as well. With Tangzu, either they give you absolutely fantastic price to performance, or they give you terrible p2p.What do we know about the TangZu Tianpeng? Kinda intriguing

The Tangzu Baije that was close in price to this one is good but for the money you may be right that there are better options like Penon or Isn value Champions are hard to compete against.Well, what I do know is that for $589.00 USD, I won't be buying it. But these Tangzu items have something going for them, but then again i have not heard what other 500+ iems can do and that these Tangzu items dont give you that perf for the dollars like other Tangzu items do.
So you may just be right but still the Tangzu Baije is something i really like, mainly because of the tuning. And again there are surely better items for the money out there. But the Tangzu Baije is special for me.
And i tried to compare the Fiio M21 and the Shanling M3 Pluss yesterday, just a quick first impression test.
And i have to say that i like both, i just love the Shanling tuning and how it plays sound.
And the Fiio when i listen to it my head starts to bop and the rhythm gets me.
In a way both hits the feeling in a different way.
And that is all i want because i was gonna sell one of these after testing both, and now for sure i dont want to sell either of them

But now i have to look into Shanling products because i just love this type of house sound that i read Shanling has in their products?
Is this so? That you get kind of similar tuning in their products? Warm and so on?

I contacted KZ and clarified the BA complement in the AM16. It is as follows:
1 x 22955 new
1 x 29869
4 x 30019
1 x 31736 dual BA. The 30019 BAs are indicated by red squares below.

How good or bad is the fit and economics on the Letshuoer DX1?
I read that most of the reviews say that it can be tricky but can be solved with the right tips.
So anyone who have tried them should we be worried or is this apply for few people that it may be tricky to fit.

Not as snug as the typical Kiwi Ears shape though.
I think the smaller size makes them more versatile, but I think that would also make a 'perfect' fit more rare.
Does anyone have a comparison between the Softears Twilight and the Tanchjim Origin? Graph wise they look very similar, but does anyone have any in ear experience with both of them?
