Bass, yes. Midrange and treble, not so much. Also, the Meteor is all BA, so those bass measurements aren’t reliable anyway. In my ears, the Meteor is nowhere near as bassy or warm as it graphs.

Cool, I always assumed they sounded similar, Guess there's a bit of diff in the BL03 vs SR9 sound as well which I both own, but they look quite similar.

Gives me the opportunity to immerse myself in my rotation, without constant new distractions.
Yep. Time for all us Yanks to get lost in the music with our favorite transducers instead of using music as a medium to test our new toys.

I'm cool with that, especially since I turned over half of my six wired IEM collection just before the tariffs kicked in with my new purchase of the Aether, discount purchase of the Hype 2 and used purchase of the Volume S. I wouldn't need anything new even if Cheeto Satan didn't play Monopoly with our retirement savings with his new taxes on his fellow citizens.

Indeed they are big from the pictures I saw but I put my faith on those smaller nozzles that they gonna do the trick for my small ears. I have a lot of eartips now to try, hopefully something will work. I guess they are going to hang outside of my ear but they are light shells so should be fine, I hope. I'm actually a bit nervous about the fit so fingers crossed.
I already have my test tracks ready :)
I don’t think you should have an issue with fit (I meant comfort with the shell size due to the fact they do stick out a bit even in my cavern ears), as they are much more ease of fit that the H60, which can cause the ears to hurt and itch during long sessions.

@activatorfly - Congrats on making the front page, buddy! Awesome accomplishment! Keep it up!

Agreed. I've spent quality time the last 30 hours or so with my ISN EBC80, Letshuoer DX1, Penon Archangel, and ISN H60. More time and gear combos on the way.

Many thanks bro...I'm gobsmacked that it even got a mention tbf, thought I was losing my reviewing mojo. 3 front pages on the trot can't be too bad I guess!

It's an accomplishment. You do good work and analysis.

Sold my entire lot of gear I had up for sale in 24 hours. $900.00 in my bank account. I imagine Trump tax might have had something to do with it? lol So with that. and none of this gear was getting much play from me (except for the JM21, which did get lots of play, but I got the M21 incoming, so redundant), but with that sale, I essentially paid $50.00 for my M21, and the Archangel for free. Paying off that bill as of today. So my Can Jam savings untouched, and I still have some cool gear incoming, and the Archangel is a blessing!

SELL THAT UNLOVED GEAR*?

*I'm pretty much tapped out though with gear to sell. Not much else realistically can go out the door, or that I'd want to part with, but since August 2024, with this lot thrown in, that's $3,503 in sales from my old gear. Still couldn't buy a Moses, unless it's used LOL

I think most of us in the US are relying on Amazon's pre-tariff stockpiling because, yeah, there's no way I'm paying Trump Tax prices if I can avoid them. I actually spent a good chunk of my evening last night with my partner investigating which Chinese companies do final assembly, distribution, etc. in the US so we can avoid the steepest increases across a variety of our household expenses. Ridiculous. For me, the tariff situation has put most luxury expenses on hold. I have to hope that even President Nepo-Baby's staunchest backers are going to be pissed once they realize they can't buy their cheap s&$^ so cheaply anymore.
Based on the work you did, would you mind sharing this list?

Been playing with Roseselsa Quietsea II Prototype , the driver that they use is very good sounding. Hope it comes out priced like the OG well under $60

While stock tuning is too upper mids spicy for me , adding a simple nozzle filter boosts the bass, balances out the sounds and keeps all the special sauce 😀
I hope the final version comes out closer to my modified one.

Thanks HiFiGo for letting me play around with this one. I am quite enjoying the Quietsea II

Jude and Brian really liked this set too. They discussed it on two separate Can Jam videos. Apparently, very well tuned, and affordable.
