Taking OD200 out of the equation, I would only use the silver nozzle and with the silver nozzle the mid treble peak sticks out a bit much and the bass bleeds more so not really feeling that one as much. Origin or Falcon Ultra.. gonna research a bit more.

You like some serious sub-bass :arrow_right: Falcon Ultra, if it doesn't matter :arrow_right: Origin
You like close, intimate vocals (with one of the nozzles) :arrow_right: Falcon Ultra, if not :arrow_right: Origin or Falcon Ultra (with the other nozzle), but
You like clear upper-mids: vocals and instrument overtones should be in your face, things should have an edge
:arrow_right: Origin, if no :arrow_right: Falcon Ultra (with one of the nozzles), if still yes but you also like bass too much to compromise :arrow_right: Falcon Ultra (other nozzle)

Haha, I just narrowed down further and the Ultra will be my next purchase unless something else pops up or I end up reading something that deters me from it. I think the blue nozzle Ultra looks exceptionally well-balanced for a warm/smooth set, and I think a balanced cable will give that extra notch of speed and stage that seems to be slightly lacking from what I’ve read about it.

Edit: Balanced also good for upper mids-lower treble control.

This album is beautiful

It’s also an excellent test for the “3D-ness” of your IEM and DAC/amp, perceived dynamic, bass quality, and quality of female vocals.

I’m a bit disappointed to find that the Pilgrim cannot match its sibling Gaea on any aspects that I index for. Amazing how much more Lee can squeeze out with one extra BA.

1. Tansio Mirai X, bought: my most expensive and most loved one. That detail is awesome, man !
2. NiceHCK Himalaya, bought: good, but I am not convinced it was worth the price. Using it with Kato's nozzles.
3. Penon Voltage : waiting for price.

I have enough cables, tips and DACs for foreseeable future; DAPs and desktop stuff are not for me.

I'm with you. The majority of my listening is on my portable equipment, via either my Qudelix-5K or FiiO BTR7.

But the overwhelming majority of my IEMs are just that much better on a desktop DAC+Amp setup

You know, I just have a thought.

What if none of you are real? 😂

How do I know? Besides a handful headfier I have seen in real life, the rest of you, as good and interesting friends are you are, exist only within the screen of my phone. I type things in a box, a few hours later there are some bell notifications of response. All of this could be AI. Or a bot farm somewhere.

Dammit, busted!:scream:

All figments of your tortured imagination. Which frankly reflects more on you than us!

The diferent colors of IEM's will alter your perception of the world, but only if you put them in your ears. Eating them doesn't work. Sorry Neo.

Accepting your decisions but I really do not have any desktop stuff (and have zero will to buy any).

Much appreciated, brothers!
Just been living life. I've been out of the loop for a few months now.
What are some of the best sub $500 IEMs from this year?
Any thoughts about Dusk2, DosCinco or Himalaya?
What is worth attention - Myer Audio SLIIVO SLT6 - for those who endears almost monitor-like neutrality full of a lot details and at the same time with musicality for different music styles.

I forgot to add Timmy's new IEM to my list of anticipation. It's unlikely to be a priority purchase given the price, but it's on the list to think about.
