Not sure but from what I have read online and heard from fellow audiophiles
1. Too much bass for some
2. Bass might get a bit bloaty(its not bloaty at all, rather the opposite)
3. The highs are not sibilant and thus lack that shimmer
4. Shell size too big for some and nozzle is thick.

Detail retrieval is very good but not in your face. This bird needs a good fit and thus tip rolling is essential.

I haven't heard any of the new Oriveti iems cause I have settled down with my audio gear, but all my audiophile friends have been going gaga over their sound.
From what I'm reading about Szalayi it would appear they are perhaps like Tri i3 Pro. Anybody heard both and like to comment?

Wow! Stunning looking pair.
Under 300$ is quite a huge compliment considering orivetti's, Aful P8 (just a shade over 300), Quintet, Penons prowl.
I think @ToneDeafMonk described it as Fan2 with tighter bass and better Treble.(if I remembered that right), also compared it pretty favorably with the much higher priced orivetti's vb700. Banger indeed TDM!

@ToneDeafMonk how did you land on these? Some chifi- forum or blind buy?

sEems worth all the hype. At that price, they aren't doing good by just tying themselves with Ali-Ex, which don't sell to countries like India etc. hope they also appear elsewhere.
All these talks about Pula are making me more and more excited and I can’t buy it in India as AliExpress doesn’t work here. Is there any other store where it is available?
Are you guys sure?
Edit: mistaken about some review which looked like one of our member from India

If the seller can undervalue the product, we can get it I suppose.

How would Szalayi play complex music, like electronica, house, or alternative?
Now that is something I cannot help you with. I listen to metal and rock and haven't had a problem listening to them on Sza.

Haven't heard the i3 pro but I'm sure someone else can give a good comparison between the two.

No ali ex don't deliver here. officially at least. Click buy and see; you will get a message saying don't deliver.
I had asked him previously as well about another iem couple of times in the past, he didn't reply. Guessing some special jugaad/arrangement he has!

And most sellers, including penon, hiby, undervalue to help out on less customs. That's not the issue.

Ali-Ex banned here. Officially at least. That's the issue.

He will just ask the Original earphones store but I am not sure why no India?
He can take payments on Paypal and ship it using Yanwen. That’s the best and easiest option we can use.

Sadly the Kiwi ears Forteza gets a 3 star review.

Comparisons:
DSC_1265.jpegw.jpeg
"The Kiwi ears Melody:

A Melody stout and fully definable clarity into which bass speed and separation are found. Yep, this is where the money is with the Melody. A smorgasbord of fun happening bellow the belt! Sorry. But this bass action is real, more clear, more separated and even the guitar timbre is better and finding the guitar examples to be more realistic despite the subtle Planar timbre. This Melody is simply more dramatic and technically better as well as holding a better tonality of all musical constituents! Sign me up for this, all day long.........simply better.......I know I'm repeating myself. :)

Where no better example is found to hold this Forteza (while still analogue) bass, the display is of a slower and less defined bass. Where the Melody kicks.......and is simply a better overall tune, I'm sorry to say. Treble is slightly less focused than the Forteza, but that was the needed down-tune with the Forteza..........what gift we were asking for, but didn't get for Christmas.

The 7Hz Salnotes Zero 2:

I can make this comparison really simple here. Haha, the 7Hz Salnotes Zero 2 is simply more even, complete and correct. It has less treble. What this does in the end is promotes longer listening times with the treble perception coming off simply more real and natural. While bass action has been improved over the original Zero, there is still room for dynamite vocals to take place with the Zero 2, heck I don't need to go on, read my Zero 2 review if you want more gushing. "

This was a good review and I believe the 3 stars is absolutely fair. Glad to see you finally got this one out and into the wild. I am absolutely thrilled Kiwi Ears tried to do something different and I hope Forteza II becomes a thing, I really do but they definitely need to get a lock down on that treble on the next one.
