any rec for IEMs in that price range?
i was going for Rhapsody because it feels like an upgrade for KZ Castor-Bass and i was looking for hybrids after buying mostly single DD and planar recently.

I got an EM6L on sale for $110 CAD on Amazon (since i was quite impressed with the EW200) over the Rhapsody - $106 CAD on Amazon, but I find the sound signature boring and lifeless. The Castor bass is more engaging, but not by a large margin imo; my Castor equally gets less usage as the EM6L compared to my current line up of IEMs. I’m more impressed with the Truthear NOVA but that’s more than double the price of the Rhapsody.

Not only is it limited in production, they are not even going to let you truly see it..... it could be pink. I mean I don’t necessarily have anything against pink, except I would like to know if I’m buying a pink IEM. In fact I have pink TRS IEMs in the mail now as we speak, and no, I didn’t pick the color. It was picked for me, and I don’t know why, but who cares, it may be (the one) pink that I like, or at least it will stand out?

I can give give you his verdict now: the best budget iem ever, coloured but great? Sub bass less, more mid bass? With change of cable, the soundstage opened up dramatically? (Code insert) With ear tips mids changed more full bodied? (Code insert) Something in the treble causes fatigue, that pinna gain? But ear surgery helped? (Surgeon contact)

Artti T10s have arrived. First impressions are good. There's slight vibe of brightness in sound (6khz peak), you can tell right away that it's a planar, both from the timbre accenting the top and the rather fast-sounding bottom end. I have my brain switched to sound of Xenns Mangird Top, so I find the bass from the dynamic speaker a bit lacking.

Shells are not that bad, which I was a bit afraid of, I was setting myself up for worse.

Edit: 6khz peak is intense!! To avoid for people who are sensitive.

Haha, well I’m going to post a review tomorrow and it will not be so great, as there is way too much treble. Then I actually have two more IEMs that are arriving soon that I’m highly skeptical of, it would be like you were going to have a party at your house except there will most likely be trouble-makers arriving. So you almost already know what it will be like. That’s right trouble, and maybe not so bad, I mean I’m always looking on the bright side. Except one is like the 21st edition of exactly the same model number, yet they keep going and trying to reclaim the fame they had back in 2017, I mean there are people reading right now that could care less about how great an IEM was in 2017. Even then I only had a couple of IEMs, and I was just beginning to get into portables. Sure I had portables since 2010, but I mean going down the rabbit hole, you know the place where we all are right now!

In a strong way IEM naivety is total bliss! But then again, maybe I will be surprised, I’m always up for a surprise!
