Managed to snag an Audeze LCD-2C in their B stock sale, officially banning myself from buying anymore audio gear for the foreseeable future…

except for Penon Quattro when this releases.

Called the quattro, not to be confused with the famous sports sedan from Audi.

4.5mm custom dynamic driver for High frequency
8mm graphene diaphragm for Medium frequency
2 X10mm composite diaphragm for Low frequency

Impedance : 16 Ohm
Sensitivity: 100dB
Frequency response : 5-30kHz

The newest from Penon. This one should garner a lot of interest. 2x 10mm dynamics for bass my friends. Can't wait to check it out.

And yes I do have a production unit will be posting an impression of them soon.

I looked at that sale within 15 minutes of it being live and the only things not sold out were the LCD-5, CRBN and the iSine IEMs.
I was hoping for a deal on the LCD-X, or at least would've considered it, if it was actually in stock!
Vultures! Vultures, I tell you...
J/k. Early bird gets the worm, I suppose.

And I feel the same way about the Quattro.

Guys, for a long long time I've been wanting to try the Sennheiser IE600 but it's price and availability here in my country makes it impracticable for me.
I can get the IE200 locally and wonder if being the owner of some Chi-Fi IEMs, the IE200 would add anything "new" or "different" from the ones I have.

As single DD (like the IE200), I have the Shozy Black Hole Mini and CA Atlas... have the Penon Serial as triple DD, all BA I have the CA Andromeda OG and hybrids, the Aful P5.

Thoughts? Will I be disappointed?
There's better and cheaper options out there don't limit yourself in Sennheisers specially rn considering their after sale support and probably even their QC went downhill after their acquisition by Sonova
Yeah, I had considered that one too. In the end, I went for the Sennheiser model because it was much smaller (not to mention cheaper).
Awww I really like your profile picture it's so cute! Is it your dog? Lol
Personally, I prefer buying knockoff shells of IExxx on aliexpress and build one myself. However the shells are more and more difficult to find.
Alot of Chinese DIY stores and manufacturers have closed down because of you know what lol

Super crazy deal. I had to get one with a case cause the ones without were gone before I could enter payment info, and I was lurking that webpage… scheduled it into my work calendar lmao.

How would you describe the sound of Fono Reference 01, please?

Very resolving v-shape with the most tactile bass I've ever listened to. One of my very best IEM, no doubt. Ask for more specifics if that isn't enough.

With the arrival of the MP-145 I started to rediscover all others IEMs which I have, for comparisons. Aaaaand long story short, to me the OH10 is overall the best among them. It's wide, with an opulent bass. Warm yet not oppressive, sub bass is there when needed. It even separates and position the instruments pretty well. I wonder what could be an update from that... IE600? Monarch III? IER Z1R? ^^
PS
Sorry for rediscovering the past in the discovery thread : D

Hi guys, I am looking for an iem with a warm, fun and cinematic sound to listen to edm, ambient music, soundtracks, with good sub bass and soundstage and imaging. Do you have any recommendations among the new IEMs this year? My max budget is $100. Thanks for your valuable suggestions.

Search for Venture Electronics SiE.

Soundstage and imaging aren't its strengths but no sub $100 pair will blow your socks off in that department. It's warm and possibly the most speaker-like experience out of all the pairs I own or have tried. Easy to forget you're wearing them too, which adds to the immersion.

They look gorgeous and I've seen somewhere in the forum they come with a nice cable NiceHCK C16-2, and from some other reviews I red they are what I'm looking for, but could you suggest me where to find them on sale in Europe?
