Haha my inner child bass head loves the SiE, make me smile from ear to ear.
Very short impressions after 6hours burn in and a few hours listening.
Thick sound in both the bass and mids, upper part of mids and treble seem slightly dark in comparison.
Not the most technical IEM or widest soundstage, about average I would say.
Do I like it? Very much.
It is a dark analogue sound, not any sibilance at all. I am halfway bass head so this is a very fun sound for me.
I doubt you can get tired from this, even with aggressive metal its not becoming to much. Unless you get tired from boosted low end.
I am getting some measurement of the SiE soon, might be interesting to see how it compares to some other sets.
Changed the cable for Penon OS133, looks good on SiE.
Here is where we part ways. I hated the JD3 so much I tossed it in the trash without regret. I've never done that with a functioning set before, but I feel the JD3 richly deserved its fate.
I bought this because I didn’t want to leave empty handed after auditioning all kinds of stuffs at my local hifi store . I thought it’s quite nice for average consumers. The same price as this atrocious set from stationary store:

There are a fair amount of iems I’m waiting on. For 200, I think I’ll pass. I’d like to give it a listen.
Performer 8, b3, and sa6 mk2 are all in the mix for me. It’s exciting times.

Mmm, the SA6 Mk2. I refresh my browser every hour to track its delivery. I’m hyping this IEM so much in my head that it might be a giant disappointment in the end That’s my problem with Dunu. I always hype their IEM up too high in my head that the products are rarely able to reach that level.

Similar graph on a standard FR just hints that the tonality may be similar, but it doesn't tell us 100% about timbral accuracy, soundstage, imaging, instrument separation, transients.
I haven't heard the B3, but I have tried the B2 and dusk, and those are way more technical than the Moondrop LAN.

Yeah, even 100% matching (kinda impossible) does not guarantee the same sound. For example, the deviations around 2kHz and 5kHz might be considered "small difference", but they add up. And those differences on the graphs are not small anyway. They seem to be 2 to 3dB. Quite audible.
@gadgetgod gearing down for my evening listening session

️Bass Presence: overall bass range mass x transient speed (if too quick, no perceived presence) https://tidal.com/track/272909903
Modern Drum N’ Bass with Piano and spatial spices added, Bass presence is a must.

️Bass Slam (Heavy > Light) Transient Speed x Sub Bass Mass x Carrying Energy https://tidal.com/track/91580143
From the Intro, the bass drum slams hard with deep deep reaching Floor Tom, an easy pick for the Bass Slam test. Variations [9.5] > B3 [8.0] > HEXA [6.5] > B2 [6.0]
It is contradicting with Timmy’s bass analysis, maybe I got very different ear anatomy with his?
Also you have to account he is money-tied with Dusk /Crin. He makes Crin’s youtube video and of which Crin receives commissions from Dusk. It’s hard to think Timmy is a bad guy enough to say any bad words about his partner’s project IEM.
