Cables are overrated, just buy instruments and play everything yourself.

So Continuing my Hola..
2 Stages of burn in with 24 hours already passed, while I hear some improvement on edges and tightening the bass, but bass still have those smears on edges, and I suspect that caused by air blocking case because of the nylon / paper damper.
I didn't wait until my burn in complete, I took out the grill and as suspected....
the adhesive was too sticky, harder to take out than other chifi, and voila there you are a white nylon filter, and when I took out, wow this one is a thick nylon filter, the culprit of bad airflow that leads to trapped bass, thus sounded smear on edges because of bad airflow, reducing much quality, and of course sounded overdampened on high frequencies..
immediately remeasure them filterless ( I did take measurement on default Hola) and HOLA crap!!!!
Crazy RAW FR!! they boosted certain frequencies and then heavy dampening them until very smooth. Not particularly wrong method IMHO, but just bad dampening method. Sony Z1R also have similar trick, boosting the 4khz and 6khz area and dampening back, but with proper dampers, medium density foam (foam have better effect with bass, the nylon paper blocks airflow and made bass bloated)
No, I won't put that filterless hola in my ear just to test the raw bass with risking my eardrum with that +17db 2.3khz peak but I'm sure bass will be much much much better.
I will put foam to tame treble frequencies peaks, and cut filter probably mesh 500 or double them but with hole for the airflow. Will get back later after my experiments.

Couldn't you just poke a hole in the existing nylon paper filter to increase airflow? So Continuing my Hola..

I can totally feel your deep dark fears here: no subscribers to hype trains - no free samples!
I was always clear that I do not support Penon and Linsoul business model, where consumers pay for massive free reviewer samples, including those ridiculous palladium cables.

Wow HOLA’s filter config is exactly same with Aria, metal over N95 like mesh filter. So Continuing my Hola..

I removed metal filter on Aria and it did some good change on Aria, when I removed mesh filter(the white one), it ruined the tonality of Aria.
Wow, THAT measurement tells exactly what happened.
It also tells a huge acoustic taming is taking place, the 11mm LCP has got a very wild natural habit it seems!
Great tests!

Yes poke a hole is 1 simple method that will do for the bass airflow, but in this case, the white nylon is too thick, so i prefer to use foam and change filter since the original one made high mids and trebles sounded overdampened too aside from bloated bass.Couldn't you just poke a hole in the existing nylon paper filter to increase airflow?
Yeah, will try to change the damper and see the true potential of that 11mm LCP. I have high hope actually.Wow HOLA’s filter config is exactly same with Aria, metal over N95 like mesh filter.

LOL... A Robber would steal the Palladium Cables and leave the rest of the Audio System!And....palladium, silver, copper and gold each requires different burn-in time.

Nice to know you only stay at random KZ IEMs. And here I am enjoying my Penon IEM while you're missing some pearls.I was always clear that I do not support Penon and Linsoul business model, where consumers pay for massive free reviewer samples, including those ridiculous palladium cables.
Just recently I heard that some are sceptical of Penon, isn't it normal business sending out review samples. I was sure it was the norm.

It’s a shrinking business, people need to survive and sustain their family. Understandable to charge overpriced thing to who could afford though. As far as Offer and Acceptance is mutually agreed upon, it’s a fair trade.Just recently I heard that some are sceptical of Penon, isn't it normal business sending out review samples. I was sure it was the norm.
Now we have variety of choices for any segments, it is understandable to do a “paid-marketing” by providing free samples by ”publisher” such as Linsoul / HiFiGo / Shenzhen Audio etc. Or otherwise with this red ocean flooded with options, the new product simply will not get enough publicity at all even if it has great performance.
We, as a consumer just simply need to understand the difference between pure personal purchase and ”paid promotion” and make own discretion about how to judge information for those two categories.
See thru your eyes and think is the motivation of the information is purely passionate one or monetary or business incentive oriented.
It’s a mixture of balance, not binary ( Money 100% / Passion 0% ) , more like Passion 70% / Ego 30% , Business 50% / Passion 20% / Obligation 30%, Social Recognition Desire 80% / Money 10% / Passion for Hobby 10%. Etc etc
I started to see monetary and personal greed starts to drive some YT reviewers (I’d just keep it as YT reviewers), So I moved away from them and found many more personal passion based YT review channels instead as a source of information.
Here is a heads up of how smell “Money” from particular small and mid-sized YT channel.
As someone know monetization model works for Youtuber with less than 50k subscribers;
▶︎Similar to my old review blog, Youtube also has affiliate links in their description or in-video pop-ups that channel host placed.
▶︎If you clicked the link, you will be assigned affiliate tag for a certain period
▶︎If you make “any” purchase during the period, the youtube channel host gains a commission, regardless of product that tagged audiences purchased.
▶︎Receiving free samples are tiny tiny fraction of business incentives, the main “monetary” incentive is to gain “public attention”. The more viewers, the more affiliate possibilities to gain Google affiliate program benefit.
▶︎Result of who fell on “Money” driven youtuber will Often use explicit expressions “Best” “Worst” and will frequently put those ”Eye catching” phrases and expression on the thumbnails. Those are easy to tell “Red Flag”

The issue about Penon is the lack of organic opinions and community senseJust recently I heard that some are sceptical of Penon, isn't it normal business sending out review samples. I was sure it was the norm.
Its always the same 2 or 3 reviewers with very high ratings. They also boost a lot of cable discourse which obviously gets community backlash. The products are not competitive in price and normally is not a name we see in recommended or tier lists

Letshouer Galideo unboxing video
Sorry it’s only in Japanese, but wow the box looks very neat.
Recap of what he mentioned
▶︎Galideo is playing at the same leagues with See Audio Yume II, KiiBoom Evoke, those LCP-backed hybrids
▶︎Galileo uses 12mm LCP + Sonion 2389 has two independent acoustic tubes
▶︎Galileo is similar to Yume II in terms of U-tuning, but more matured = flat.
▶︎Great option for audiences loves LCP driver and felt Yume II is too dry and overly emphasized on top/bottom end, and even not feeling right for relatively matured Evoke, Galileo has the least offensive tuning among those three
▶︎The matured tuning on Galileo isn’t just tamed, but has some accents to deliver gain spot hitting
Hmm, interesting
From this comment feedback and spec sheet of Sonion 2389, I start to think the crossover of LCP dynamic may have covered all the way up to upper mid, which adds warmth and more dynamism, meanwhile 2389 is utilized as tweeter with its “High” only middle
tap functionality mentioned on spec sheet. And the reason why we don’t see 2389‘s natural peaks in mid to upper mid.
