Wow... the COPY costs 300!?!?Trifecta...aliexpress? are you refering....to...what i think...like the 300$ copy....i PM Campfire about this and they dont care.
I gotta do the firmware update. It's not as easy as some other dac's though.
cant remember the price...cant find them on ALi either now....yet it pop up on my ChiFI Freedom group 6 months ago and i pull off and warn the poster...which...hum. is a reviewer. ill not tell.Wow... the COPY costs 300!?!?
Such a strange chapter in counterfeit history.
ZheWuYuSheng Audio Trinity. Got mine for 180$. Might be a different model but it’s stagey AF. Kind of odd treble tonality at times but it’s an addictive sound. Super SUPER comfy fit and very good, modular cable too.Wow... the COPY costs 300!?!?

Class D headphone amps are possible but are just not in demand, I hope that changes though.Audiophiles really do everything to make our lives more difficult, eh![]()
Yes, the one he's talking about is slightly different. That store I think is no longer in business? Or I might be wrong, but they sold everything ALO (Campfire) as "original", but they were obviously knockoffs, being sold for much cheaper, but not cheap. I almost got tripped up, until I read the reviews and a few folks mentioned they weren't original, but knockoffs.ZheWuYuSheng Audio Trinity. Got mine for 180$. Aful Cantor or P5+2? Maybe EPZ P50 or Tri i3 Mk3? The new Kiwi Ears Aether might be a good candidate based on early reviews.Hi all!
Been out of the market for a while and not kept on top of new iems. What would people recommend for a 90% classical music listener (all kinds from symphonic to chamber) at around 800 dollars or below.
Thanks in advance for any advice!! Much appreciated.
Say hello to my little friend......AFUL Cantor!!Hi all!

You know, I never thought about it. What is the actual limitation? Why aren't there more class D headphone amps and mobile devices?Class d efficiency vs class ab/a
Same here. Steamdeck and ROG Ally sound quite spacious with good imaging in games and videos, despite sporting as minimal DAC as possible. The wolfson DAC used in PS Vita is also surprisingly good. Dare I say they are not significantly or even practically worse than the usual dual IC DAC + opamps…You know, I never thought about it. What is the actual limitation? What did you like about SR8 if you could tell me. I'm very curious about this.I came to save your money.
As i told already before, i was meeting with my audiophile friends and i was trying many of their iems like the "tangzu gate" and i said that the shock are better purchase than the gate for that price in my opinion.
One of the other iems that i tried was the "Cantor" (I'm sorry cantor fans about what I'm going to say about them).
In my opinion, the cantor are a complete waste of money.
First of all, the positives:
Very good looking iems, they fit pretty well in my ears and they've been surprisingly comfortable for me.
Now, as for the sound, not only the cantor are not leagues better than the aful p7, they were actually a downgrade from the p7 for me.
They have similar sound to the much cheaper slt6 iems from myer audio (during sale you can buy them for less than $350).
They also sound similar to my $170 CK2V iems (that i decided to keep at the end) just with little bit cleaner treble.
The cantor are brighter iems than the P7 with more detailed sound, slightly bigger stage but with weaker bass, harsher treble and less fun sound.
I also tried in the meeting the "Sound Rhyme SR8", another iems with 14BA's per side.
Those iems actually impressed me and I'm gonna buy them from my friend.
Again, this is only my opinion.
