I have small ears...tick. Alas I'm torn between QuietSea (£39 after tax) & MagicOne (£67)....indecisions....indecisions!

Here are the strengths and requirements of the MagicOne.

-- Mids sound like an HD 6XX or HD 650.
-- A different tuning than probably anything in your collection, especially if you’ve been a Harman-hugger in the past?
-- You need power. Don't even think of running the MagicOne from an Apple dongle or straight from your phone.
-- Tip rolling is absolutely essential with the MagicOne.
The Explorer has mid bass presence you love, and excellent mids. The Pula has excellent mid bass presence and mids, but with the added special sauce of BCD to add a dimensionality, while purportedly delivering similar styled treble, so basically, the Pula should be like an upgraded Explorer? So maybe that's where you should lean? But again, you are an AFUL stan, and the P5+2 is AFULLY GOOD.
Damn it. Great information that leaves my brain buried in mud due to paralysis by overanalysis.

If the Anvil is simply an Explorer with BCD, then, eh, might be redundant, minus the special BCD sauce. But ... I would like to venture out maybe from AFUL, and I can get a better deal on the Anvil. And if the 5+2 is an improved Explorer with more treble extension and detail, well, maybe BCD is worth a shot.

Hmm ...
Haha... They didn't cost me $80.
I wish.
$278 + $80 tax.
Yikes. Bummer. I should stop moaning about taxes in the States. We practically get stuff for free compared to some nations.

$350 for a dual BA set? I am sure it will be nice sounding howevever. Unless CA has made some revolutionary way of making a dual BAs cover the entire sound spectrum with some ballz. I know CA makes some nice sounding stuff but I hate to be that guy that points out the obvious but if you guys can't figure out thats not such a great deal in 2024 during 11.11 I might add, I dont know what to tell you.

Now you all know why it is limited. Edition.

I wouldn’t buy this for the ultimate sound. It is more on the collector side of things. (For me at least). Just for fun😄

Guys any recommendations for nylon braided cables like Penon Space? Preferably copper, silver mixed. I'm looking for more of a bight tonality. Budget is around $100 so something on sale would be great too. TIA.
THE Yongse Spidy is excellent dont need to pay the $100

N3U is infinitely more mobile, and has more tuning options, but the B4-X has just as capable detail retrieval and layering, while having a much more expansive and full soundstage. But it's also an amp only, so it relies on transport, so bulkier, and not something meant to be mobile (desktop), so when I'm home, I will go back and forth between the two happily, but when I leave home, it's the N3U exclusively for the tube flavor.
Thank you, buddy.
I have N3Pro, so I pretty sure N3U must have higher SQ. Also I have two Topping amps with excellent specs but I'm not impressed except output power.
Thus just now I'm considering buying another amp, maybe ADV or B4-X.

You just described the H60 my friend. As for spicy treble on the H60, either whoever said that is a bat, a dog, or a bat dog? Or they just don't know what they're talking about, because the H60 doesn't come close to having "spicy treble". It well balanced, has a touch of warmth, but not overboard, with excellent qualities in each phase of frequency as well as an expansive stage (not FAN 3 level), and better bass than the Fan 3 with nicely tuned mids and treble extension without crispiness.
Spicy treble is very questionable on stuff like this. If it's a single account it is one thing but if it is a ton of people then that is another. I typically chalk down one or two of these claims to source being used or tips. My TSMR-X for example, within the first hour or two while I was listening to it, I noticed quite a bit of spicy treble and even on some of my favorite tips. I had to swap to the stock tips and I never heard it again, ever.

18+ (Not for chickens!)
They change sound like chameleons...and all that for only 5€ straight!
WJLYP D08! (What a strange name)..."what buds are those?"..."WJLYP"..."What?"..."WJLYP"..."What?" What!
If you drink only milk or beer, these are not for you, but rum, vodka, and rakia are must-haves!:joy:
And not to forget...they sound great from a smartphone, too.
Even without a dongle (which is a better, cleaner option), straight from the phone is fine.
Excellent experience! Numero 6!

Guys I honestly thought I was gonna hate on the Kefine Klean. Especially as some people were going around saying it's better than the Delci AE, and I was like no way a $50 IEM beats a more expensive one from the same brand.

But my jaw literally dropped on the floor when I started listening to this little beast. It's quite bassy, has good clarity and resolution, forward mids, and even the treble is quite extended without sounding harsh or shouty. This is the kind of tuning I've always been after but couldn't get even from $500 IEM's. For example, my Penon 10th has amazing bass and mids but I'm not really impressed with its details or treble extension, I dunno what those EST's are really doing. Now obviously, I'm not saying the Klean is better than $500 sets but there are some things it's doing right for me (personally), which other sets haven't been able to do so far regardless of the asking price.

I'm seriously amazed by the level of sq you can get for $50 nowadays. And Kefine Klean is my top pick now not only in the $50 but also in the $100 range. I would pick it over something like the Aful Explorer. Anyway might seem like I'm hyping but do keep in mind, I'm talking about my personal taste here and these are just impressions not a full review or anything.

These impressions are based on the black nozzle not the silver one. I think the Klean has the potential to reach budget G.O.A.T status like the Blon 03. Peace.
The Klean seems to be constantly making a reappearance, wish I could A/B it with the QuietSea, Explorer & my Delci...a comparo that would solve my inner quandary!
FIGHT ! LOL :L3000: :deadhorse:

It’s not an Explorer with BCD. Anvil has less bass than both Explorer and P7. When I listen to tracks like the main theme of Skyrim with deep, big rumble at the beginning, I hear less bass on Anvil.

But it does not mean that it’s less impactful though. Bass attacks are quite emphasised. Anvil is a right name for this IEM. If you listen to how hammer strikes an anvil by a blacksmith, that’s how this IEM does drums and bass guitar.

You need power. Don't even think of running the MagicOne from an Apple dongle or straight from your phone.

This is why I don’t use this IEM more often. R3II does degrade its sound a bit. Not like ruin it, but enough to make me feel like I’m wasting its potential.

Ahh my bad! Willing to stretch to around 700¤ for iems and headphones.. Eying the Aune AR5000 at the moment.

I’m a normie, so Hifiman Sundara or Edition XS are what I think of when it comes to open back headphone 🤭

Hifigo on AE has a $10 store coupon, stack with sitewide $25 coupon. Plus any discount you can get with coins. Hopefully it works for you.

These are both top notch although I think the Moondrop PARA is the better overall headphone compared to the Sundara

That was my go to choice Jason. It matches the color scheme of my Penon 10th as well perfectly. But just my luck, they don't have the 4.4mm, 2-pin option in stock right now 🙃
