Transparent,a little V-shape,good detail,big soundstage.
With the desktop mode open,it gets heat faster, but it doesn`t burn my hand.KA15 used some "sleep" technology to cool down quickly and it works.
If I'm not mistaken, the cassette tape view is just one of many different screens that can be configured. So you can ditch the retro thing without any downside

KZ ZS12 Pro is unfortunately priced the same with Kefine Delci in my place, usd $55~ish (while ZS10Pro 2 at $32-ish)
and they rather graph similarly,
if there is people here own both of them, whats the difference between the two and which one you prefer?

two factor,
1. more driver which drive up the size, especially now we have trend of more DD in one iem (in comparison of older 1DD+2~3 ba where it could be abit more compact)
2. recent trend for tuning switch in KZ, TRN and CVJ which make it thicker as they need place for the switches.
I guess I’m a bit nostalgic I had a cassette player just like that, in that same colour when I was a kid (the player is definitely larger than that usb stick). It’s a cheap knockoff one that likes to eat my tapes, but I loved it.
Got to have the volume low on these they get loud.
Early days , but enjoying them so far. Love the convenience of using them with my iPad Pro and Apple Music as well.
Will swap out for a Balanced cable to test them without DSP later on.
Ah no, it seems the Plussound SONORA and VOLTA are TOTL boutique tribrids with isobaric-arranged dynamic drivers, balanced armatures, and electrostatic drivers.
And we got some more comparisons here! It's the fate of the Phoenixcall!
First, it went up against the H60... and flew away beaten 0/5. The H60 just has better note weight and musicality.
Then, it faced up against the driver hog AS24... which doesn't quite have the stage effect of the PC, but is still a smoother, more balanced sound. The AS24 won 3/5 times.
Next, it was up against the ZS12 Pro X... and it was a tough call because the treble on the ZS12 is good but not as shimmery as the PC, but ultimately, it still won 3/5 times because it had better bass.
Finally, it was up against the ZS10 Pro 2... which was a VERY close match. The ZS10 should have won, because it has just a bit more bass punch... They both have very emphasized treble, but the Phoenixcall's feels well done while the ZS10 required a filter mod to be listenable due to sibilance... I gave the win 3/5 to the PC because of that although it could really have gone either way, honestly. The ZS10 was on a pure copper Orangesir cable while the PC's is silver plated. Despite the color matching goodness, I'm thinking about replacing the PC's cable with a pure copper one to hopefully add a bit of warmth. I like how accurate the bass is, but it's not punchy enough to give adequate note weight when needed. The PC is surely a treble-head's dream.
EDIT: Slapped on the Orangesir cable and the PC... does sound surprisingly more impactful. When I have more time I'll swap back and forth to make sure, but the PCs DEFINITELY don't need added brightness from silver-plated cables!
