Okay, thanks. Looks like its impossible to have a Soundrhyme right now.
maybe Neon Pro? It’s very masterful 10BA, probably best implemented one besides those cost over $2 grants

I like that the Kumo has one more 22995 coz that 30019 in the AS24 is extremely likely only for driver count.
Seems Kumo will have more bass than AS24 with double low section BA,
while AS24 is chasing more definition in treble and strings instrument with extra 30019

If Kumo manage to be more "fun" tuned while retaining the resolution...

Actually for BA bass, the bass quantity/decay would probably depend a lot on whether it is vented (which most all BA sets aren't).

Thats interesting, do they double it for better definition?

Not sure on the vent part but these are marketing dissection image for new 22955 and 29689 that we going to see everywhere shortly.

Just some guesses here based on overly simplified electronics and acoustics:

1. If you add one more driver, say the 22955, it should mostly increase the note weight not the loudness.
2. This I am quite sure, the extra 30019 should make some sound but it's way too dim compared to other BAs so it's not going to do anything and we don't hear it.

Also it probably makes more sense to have just 4 switches than 8, lol.

And here I was thinking that Butastur was a mispronunciation of Battle Star. ;)

AüR Audio Aurora

My review on the latest hybrid IEM from AüR is out, this has now become one of my favourite sets.
Refined and beautiful sound, with a very natural tonality.
With one of the best performing bass ranges in a IEM that I have ever tried.
Forward and clean vocals with lots nuance.

Feel free to read my review if its of interest, thanks.

BGVP has a pretty interesting description of how their “bone conduction” driver works in the Phantom:

https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrUzBwC

This appears to be similar to what the Bridge is doing. The Bridge grill under the combined 6mm DD and piezo unit is in the same location as BGVP’s combo EST/BA “vibration channel.” Maybe there is something to this BCD hype?
does any tried how sound tone of bgvp phanthom?

I'm really curious about the 530. Please be sure to share impressions when you get it!

I've also just ordered the 530. The tuning looks appealing and I can't help myself when I see stabilised wood...

I'm planning to cut down on my collection soon so I'm hoping the 530 will cover the 'fun' side of things. I'll make sure to post impressions when they arrive.

It does, but unlike the P5 it is stabilised wood and unlike the SA6 MK2 the whole shell is stabilised wood, not just the faceplate. It also appears to have a much smaller footprint than the SA6 MK2 with better ergonomics (apologies for the blurry pictures):

My collaboration IEM, project Butasur with Night Oblivion is underway but still struggling with manufacturing process of the shells.

Faceplate is almost done, but there are limitations on what can be done and what can’t.

So far, this is the design

Butastur is a type of hawk that migrates from Northen China.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butastur

This design is a silhouette of Butastur
flying in the dead of night and also three claws of herself.

After numerous attempt, we finally managed to get the hook of it.

It’s almost there🌙👍💤
Looking forward to more on this release of yours. Since its close to Neon Pro sound, I should get it to compare
