Yeah i think they're a pretty safe bet. I've been wanting to try them since the Pro was well received, so a little retune to Hbb's specs should be a winner and that coupon price was too hard to pass up.

I'm not usually one to comment on graphs, but the tuning on the PR2 looks incredible. Especially the 16-17kHz boost, I expect this to sound very detailed (planar driver and artificial detail from the tuning).

It sound quite easy and effortless in all type of music, perhaps going with a powerful dap always a good thing. The musical impression is quite amazing, maybe the headroom is not that large, only about a small room but it sound open so you'll likely ignore small headroom feeling. You can probally listen like 8-12 hours with it, easily

Right now I have the Audeze open back M-100, Dunu sa6 MK2, and am working on getting an Aful P8 soon. I have plenty of stuff to listen to. I tried the Blon 03 but wasn't a huge fan. The issue is there are so many iems that are coming out like lighting fast it's crazy. HBB has the blon colab then the new KZ Planar one. I kind of think he is shooting himself in the foot by having a few too many collabs so quickly. Although I don't blame him. I just can't keep up!

Kinda interesting considering many other brands (Kinera, TRN, KBear, SeeAudio) are spending quite the effort trying to have cheaper pseudo planar alternative and have to engineer a way to deal with its drawback while maintaining good price...

and here we have KZ who simply goes, "here's a $39 true planar".

Order volume, loss leader, or govt subsidies? Or in any combination? This might explain how KZ can afford to lowball price a "real PL" IEM.

Thanks. However thin note weight it an issue for me. Also forgot to mention that the bigger the stage the better.


Its impossible to get the N5005 here in India.


i felt the note weight on the Dunu was not to my liking.


i am not looking for a treble head set the right note weight, no rolled off sub bass and a gigantic stage is what i am looking for i guess.

DTE500’s treble extensions looks astonishing from 7kh all the way to 15khz, no wonder
