Ahh..that shop is fishy! I‘m running in the same situation, I wasn’t expecting authentic ZS5 from that $7 price tag, but they were even worse. I contacted them and they say” your item is being delivered, no worry”. Just need to mark calendar for open dispute for item not received for those.

It a “miss” on Aliexpress. We lost the bet. I only had 1 incident prior to this, so it’s 2/100 now.
Atleast it haven't shipped yet, it's alright haha
Caniao global shipped the package without a phone number! That's why I still haven't received the Neon, no update after 1 month! Try to contact, wrong phone number, try to email, no feedback, first incident and i'm kinda pissed.

Just noticed Sound Rhyme SR5, has very nice feature. Photoluminescence.

Same to qdc‘s new flagship Anole V14

Here comes SR5…
under daylight

Nothing special except a very high-end finish (metal nose, RSV style carbon face plate).

But in the night time…

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life

You were only waiting for this moment to arise

😳she is a blackbird singing in dead of night.

I can rebrand this SR5 as SR-71 Blackbird and slap $1,099 as Price Tag, with its Mach 3 detail articulation performance that outperforms most of Med-fi IEMs except EST equipped Variations, I bet it will sell😄

I will take a black light version of this little blackbird. It sings very well.
As promised black light version of SR5 Blackbird.

Anyone running the Shanling M0 Pro? I like the green.

After one month with the M0 Pro, these are my summarized opinions on it:

Solid 4/5 rating

Shanling_M0_Pro_Photo_1-1100x825.jpg

Shanling_M0_Pro_Balanced_Cable-1100x825.jpg

Balanced adapter and case are sold separately!!

Pros:
  • Extremely compact and light
  • 4.4mm (balanced) and 3.5mm (single-ended) outputs available (note that 4.4mm adapter must be purchased separately)
  • Low and high gain options
  • Fast UI with quick booting
  • Compatible with Shanling’s Android app
  • Multiple functions and settings
  • Dark background without hiss
  • Low output impedance – compatible with low impedance transducers
  • Generous power on tap (with balanced adapter and high gain)
  • Two-way Bluetooth with stable range and connectivity
  • Musical signature, neutral tonality with no fatigue
  • Natural timbre

Cons:
  • Balanced adapter and case must be purchased separately - and this adapter and the M0 Pro are not compatible with aftermarket stuff
  • Only one volume wheel/button – a possible point of failure
  • Some UI quirks - scrolling is too sensitive, screen is too small and one cannot see the full title. Need to swipe 3x at least to get to playback screen
  • Cannot stream music - potential deal breaker for some
  • No support for aptX Adaptive or aptX HD
  • Laggy Bluetooth
  • Below-average battery life on both output ports
  • 3.5mm (single-ended) output is slightly reduced in dynamics and soundstage compared to the 4.4mm (balanced) port (volume-matched)

It is really quite powerful once the balanced adapter is used (with high gain). Can power my Final E5000 (low sensitivity) and Senn HD650 (high impedance). Very surprising for such a small device.

Sadly, you need to purchase the balanced adapter separately. Without the adapater, just using the 3.5mm single-ended port, the M0 Pro is nothing special. Shanling said they sold these separately as a lot of consumers are not interested in the balanced port, and this was to cut down costs.

Thanks for that, will you be getting the M1s?

Shanling seems to have some issues with this M1S model, it got delayed a few times. Have to wait patiently till it comes out I guess.

I guess I finally found my bullet IEM sleeping buds endgame😴

Moondrop Droplet is smaller than ear tips
D7CD9987-DA37-4AFB-9E53-E771D7DB0E48.jpeg
and sits well between ear and pillow when side sleeping. It doesn’t pressure the ear, very comfy🤤 Most importantly it has a little younger tuned Softears RSV style gene,

I guess Moondrop has opened up a good market. Chu / Jiu / LAN is still too big for side sleeping, but Droplet passed the line.

▶︎Small enough for side sleep (many small IEMs failed here)
▶︎No need to worry about battery (TWS failed here)
▶︎Actually tuned right! (many bullet failed here)
▶︎Has very low distortion and great imaging with coherent staging (Many dynamic driver failed here)
▶︎Actually does bass! (many single BA failed here)
All those passed for Droplet except
▶︎iPhone? No.
▶︎ Play/Pause switch needs a surge protector. It has hiccups.

@MOONDROP Please make Droplet with lightning cable… I can’t use Droplet on my iPhone😦. Also hopefully a TWS. It will sell tons!

Yes, lightning! Also do you hear that little dip right before 1k? Are you getting thin lower mids or bass bleed, or is it too isolated for bass bleed?

I’m sub-bass addict, and I‘m pretty satisfied with this bass😄 Not perfectly sure, my Droplet only came with stock foam tips, and it matches better than non-foamies🤯 I never use foam tips because it kills sub-bass resonance, but it works well on Droplet. The tonal balance is balanced to neutral with foam tips, if not it will sound too dry with this timbre.

1k dip? Hmm it sounds perfectly fine to me. It’s slight dry from 1khz-2khz, but the bass floor balances that out with foam tips‘s warmth added.

Least it crushes the RSV at 10k lol
Well RSV is designed to sound good for that area, it’s an intentional compensation. I can understand why Crin mentioned RSV lacks resolution, it’s mainly this 10k dip.

For droplet, since it’s a less powerful unit than 5BA RSV, the treble registers could play with a bit more freedom. Also Droplet has an internal acoustic chamber that diffuses the output, so high frequency energy is evenly diffused, great solution!

Oh about bass bleed, since the energy of single BA is not that much, plus it‘s a BA bass, the bass is isolated with lower mid in terms of ”perceived“ bass mass. It has well balanced tuning overall. FR only tells thin slice of the final output, and that output is quite nice.

Ofcourse after I completed updates on today’s SR5 benchmark post, with many A-B test conducted, when moved from SA6 and SR5, Droplet surely sounded less engaged and narrow ranged, but ears will soon adopt (brain burn-in) to the new environment and would actually like it because of good timbre + tuning.

I can't stress enough just how much I love these IEMs. The Fearless Audio Shangri-la's are fun, musical, bassy, but at no point is there any bleed. There's just enough top end extension, the detail retrieval, though several steps behind the Sands, N5005, or heck, even the Timeless, is still enough to make it an engaging listen, and the resolution is high enough that on hi res tracks, they can certainly shine. Plus comfort is keen. One of my most comfortable IEM's I own. Much more engaging than the IE200.

Very interesting, as the frequency response curve looks really like a perfect target, so now I am really intrigued by this little droplet...
Unfortunately, I use a little iFi Go Blu BT Receiver (15+ hours playing Time) hanged on the collar of my sleeping T Shirt, I would really prefer a 2.5mm balanced cable than USB-C or Lightning connector. :sob:
