But have you completed burn in for X7 or just read the instruction and made conclusion?
Sorry, I do not follow cult practices, including burning rituals and unsupported claims on "that special cables" and ridiculious (at least as far the science is concerned) "cable gains".

If someone wrote the all-BA burn routine as an excuse for poor performance - it is just regrettable and a poor business practice. Why TRN (or any other similar companies) do not ship petfectly burned IEMs to consumers, instead of printing "rituals" and then resorting to deep discounts of more than 3 times for X7 and nearly so for BA15?

P. S. My ZS5 order from your links (I do take the respinsibility for the decision) has not been shipped for two weeks and the shop is "on vacation".

P. P. S. True. 30095 are constantly refined, but not the most recent ones in BA15, and based on your treble preference, you would not stand those two in a nozzle of BA15. Then in 160+ hours, one's ears perhaps could adapt :)
I am almost OK with it as "curiosity tuning", 5 others 30095 inside are most likely structural/decorative.

Well it’s your choice. Sometime thing on paper isn’t reflecting the reality you know. If you follow paper, that’s fine. Each one is entitled to their view. I feel it’s losing bits of opportunities you could’ve enjoyed, by following dataset only. We only know very little about the nature yet and our body (not only brain) is very rare quantum computing processors to enjoy the natural phenomena. We have around 500,000 hours or less to enjoy that excitement until the end.

Rurn-in those BA could cost a lot more in manufacturing process. AFUL does it before shipping P5, I felt same for AKG N5005, no audible difference from day 1 till now.

👍🍻👏 If something doesn't sound good out of the box no about of burn is going to fix that. Miracle cable will NOT correct poor tuning either. Tips for sure make a difference and some burn in will probably change the tuning slightly more so on DD drivers. The saying your first instincts are normally the correct one IMHO applies to audio equipment. I don't want to hear the equipment I want to hear the music and enjoy.

Ahh..that shop is fishy! I‘m running in the same situation, I wasn’t expecting authentic ZS5 from that $7 price tag, but they were even worse. I contacted them and they say” your item is being delivered, no worry”. Just need to mark calendar for open dispute for item not received for those.

It a “miss” on Aliexpress. We lost the bet. I only had 1 incident prior to this, so it’s 2/100 now.

For whatever reason, I had a bit of bad luck recently with orders too.
I had a couple of order being sent on the last day, and my Reecho SG-03s order hasn't been shipped yet, and I made that order 18 days ago.
When I contacted the shop they told me that they were awaiting new items from Reecho, and I pushed back the date for shipping, but the new date is only 3 days away, and I guess at that point AE will juste cancel the order and refund me, but that's still a bit annoying.
I guess a lot of shops now have a bit of delay, with the new year holidays, and that's okay for me, I'm not in a hurry, but being told that I have to wait for my order when the shop said on its page that it had the product in stock is a bit fishy, and kinda weird too, coming from a shop which is several years old and has a good rating.

Here comes SR5…

Nothing special except a very high-end finish (metal nose, RSV style carbon face plate).

But in the night time…

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life

You were only waiting for this moment to arise

😳she is a blackbird singing in dead of night.

I can rebrand this SR5 as SR-71 Blackbird and slap $1,099 as Price Tag, with its Mach 3 detail articulation performance that outperforms most of Med-fi IEMs except EST equipped Variations, I bet it will sell😄

I will take a black light version of this little blackbird. It sings very well.

Anyone running the Shanling M0 Pro? I like the green.
I am, a nifty musical player mines Green with the Green leather case tiny, tiny with surprisingly decent power

How’s the sound, comparisons? And balanced? I see it has a different implementation.
It has a proprietary to Shanling 3.5mm balanced. You have to buy Shanling's cable; no other 3.5mm balanced will work.

Struggling to purchase the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite. Reviews have been a little mixed. Weak base mentioned by some. Not recommended for bands like Radiohead among others. Not sure about investing even 229 on these?

P.S. I wanted a balanced set, so I bought it for my instrumental interest.

I’ll go with AFUL P5. It’s flat-ish tuning between 2 and 5k, similarly to Monarch II is a great way of tuning this region: as nuanced in vocals as Moondrop yet keeping the sharp macro detailing of the likes of Fiio (you know, the “cat ears” tuning). Treble extension is excellent too.

Bass is potent, can be too much for some. I use Fiio HS18 tips to tuck the bass in and it’s snappy and clean now.

It’s a shame that soundstage is rarely out-of-head though.

AFUL does it before shipping P5

AFUL still recommends burn in in their user manual though :dt880smile:

I just used the things, if there is any burning, it would resolve by itself. And I don’t think any burn can change the way those woofers sound. Slapping a pair of HS18 on does.
