A 50 dollar gift card is still money spent. And I'm assuming you similarly got a special couoin or something for that 10% off since msrp is 500.

Sennheiser had a sale on them for $340 with a $50 iTunes gift card this past Black Friday but that deal probably won't come again until next Black Friday

Actually someone here said that that promotion was not even supposed to be leaked out to the public, which is why it only lasted a few hours on Black Friday. So it likely won't come again at all.

I agree, and to have a deals thread, and not post discussions about those deals....sounds kinda lame tbh. This site is an exchange of information, its a "forum" lol. I get that its a deals thread, and imo discussing deals is legit.

Discussing deals and having an entire conversation about the product itself are two entirely different things. I'd say keep it down to simply posting a couple review links with deals aboutproducts people may not be familiar with

The 650's probably will. I got mine for $325 a few months ago, after I sold the gift card and paid the tax. The 400's are too small of a market and too specialized for discounts on new pairs to be common. Both retailers enforce MAAP, but it's a little easier for Hifiman since they only have so many retailers.

will Sennheiser HD 650/ HE-400 drop lower? Now I see both are $400....Actually, I am not familiar with the price of headphone..Thank you guys for your help.

HE-400? Probably not unless you can find a % off or $ off coupon for a particular retailer. It's price pretty much is what it is. The price of the HD-650 fluctuates frequently though, so keep your eyes peeled for a deal.
