Got my refurb HD700 from Crutchfield yesterday.....the left driver made a clicking sound when bass notes hit. Called up Crutchfield and they're sending me a brand new one. I was amazed at their service. Especially when these are refurbs. Color me impressed.

Crutchfield's CS is the best in the business. That's why they charge MSRP for everything.

If you don't mind "slightly used or used" products, I would keep an eye out on the FS forums here. There are plenty of people on here selling both of those cans. They are very popular so you will see them up there quite often. I looked on there earlier today, and saw some HD650 for 360, which is decent. I sold a pair for 320 a few weeks back. And I constantly see the HE-400 up for around 350ish.

Thank you for your information, greed. I do not mind used products if they are fully workable. What is the FS forum?

They look cool?? That's about all I got :) They look good on paper but we know how that can go but if you didn't pay to much nothing wrong with getting a nice cheap can from a good brand. How much did you get them for if you don't mind me asking? There is another pair up for auction and I was thinking about taking a chance if the price is right.
