Almost pulled the trigger on a set of Beyerdynamic T1's for $913.07 but by the time I decided to buy them the price went back up to $1399...

Sonic sent me a shipping notice for me T70p's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are honoring the coupon!!!

Nice! Bummer that they wouldn't honor the coupon for me... kinda unfair, but oh well. Still a great deal with the free i.fuzen case as long as I can sell that off.

Now to see the condition in which our T70 and t70p arrives in :x

Maybe some of you thread followers haven't heard but Schiit just released a $99 amp Magni and a $99 dac Modi. Not any real reviews out yet. It's not an official deal...and yet, if they are as good as they look, they will be a great deal  none the less. Seems like the kind of thing people coming to this thread might want to know about!

Actually, it IS an official deal - anyone can go to their web site and get that price.
And, it is not out of the realm of possibility that - after it gets some "buzz" - the price will go up some.

Also, concerning the comments about "it can't be that good - it would cannibalize sales of their $400 products", you just need to apply some math.

Suppose - wild guess - that their profit is 40%.  That means that if they sell five times as many $100 products as $400 products, then they have increased their net profit.

Are there five times as many customers for $99 amps as $400 amps ?   Ask Fiio...

BTW, several of us have ordered and will report back to the Magni thread.

Well I was one of the ones who went for that Meelectronics "grab bag" mystery purchase for $10 bucks. I did two $10 dollar entries.

Here is what came in:

I already know I don't like the M6. So I am going to open the M31 and take a listen. Both will be stocking stuffers for friends.

Well, I just found through slickdeals.net the Monster iSport Livestrong edition on sale for $30.00 at TigerDirect.

I think they're getting rid of them after the bad press that Lance Armstrong got in the past months.

I got the M31P...after reading the review on the IEM Shootout thread of the 31's, I'm not even gonna bother opening them. I'll give them to my 13 year old nephew, he'll love 'em.

Well I am sad to say they are DOA. Work only in the right ear. I guess here is the test on Meelectronics' customer service. I'll let yall know what they do about it.

I did go ahead and open the M6 and was plesantly suprised they sound a lot better than the other pair I got for free. Seems to be an improved driver. Will make a fine stocking stuffer.
