Cheapest in Canada I have seen is 299 @ Bay Bloor Radio. Still not amazing but not awful if you look at amazon.com retail price.

Any good deals for the AH-D2000's for fellow Canadians? If there aren't any deals to be had I will have to cross the border...what's the best price in the U.S. for these?

Thanks for the reply, the 580$ d7000 from electronic expo is nice, i already saw it, but i read from other thread that says this dealer is not great, one guy says that he bought a new d7000from there, it s new but with damage, he had a hard time get the refund, took so long and not so good attitude..etc, so i going to avoid that shop.
What about grado, do you guys know where toget with good price, i look at amazon, their price seems quite stable, along with beyerdynamics, the price never goes down.

I've bought 3 different pairs of headphones from Electronics-Expo:

1 NEW sealed D7000
1 NEW HD598
1 New in open box D7000

All came quickly. All came in immaculate condition.

I had to send in my first D7000 for repair (Lyr blew the right driver), and I didn't have a receipt. I contacted E-E, and they were very helpful. Got my D7000 order details emailed to me, and got my D7000 fixed for free (sans shipping to the Denon repair center).

E-E is like any other website. You will get customer service more times than not. I wouldn't worry about ordering from them.

I have had good success with EE also. Made one purchase there. Price was good and shipping was efficient. I would certainly buy there again if the price was right.

You're kidding right ?

349$ if I buy from the web; ~210$ if I call ?

$349 is MSRP and no one ever pays that when it comes to headphones (unless it's rare, in very high demand, or new). J&R is one of the companies that you can haggle. $210 is the negotiated price. Depending on whom you get on the phone, YMMV.
