lol. I barely had money for them... such is the life of student in uni. I'm in Canada so I asked my uncle if I could have them sent to his house in the US and I would pay for them and he surprised me by saying that he would take care of the costs. =D and I too am upgrading from the m50's.

I've got the e7/9 so I'm hoping they'll adequately drive the HD650's.

You'll obviously benefit from a bigger better amp but I have the Fiio E11 and that drove them just fine. Plenty of bass, thump included. I put it on high power, high gain mode and had the E11 cranked up to about 5 or 6, so it definitely wasnt easy for it to do. I doubt I'd get more than 8 hours of battery life through it in this way as opposed to the ~20 hours I get now. Look at the Bottlehead Crack and the O2 amp. The O2 is only 50 bucks if you can build it yourself.

EDIT: my bad, I didnt see that you had the E9. The 650s scale REALLY well but the E9 should drive them very nicely nonetheless.

skeeder, he has hd600s.  You can actually get the $100 card since they are $399.99 but just skip that all together, go to his ebay store and make an offer of $300.

Thanks!

Although if I can get the HD650's for $350, its seems the way to go...

What? Did you just buy so much stuff that they gave it to you? I suppose that's one way of getting some HD650s

His Sennheiser products are excluded from the gift cards. It's in the fine print.
