Not headphone related but:

If anyone here is a gamer there's a THQ pack for $10 on amazon with games that are all pretty fun, or atleast I think so.

Whoa!  Now the price has dropped to $1118.60 !

This is like watching an ebay auction about to close, except the price is falling instead of going up, and you don't know when it will hit bottom and turn around.

If anyone's interested, the question becomes "Wait or pull the trigger?"    Trying to save another ten bucks might backfire...

This summer, I wanted for Amazon's price on the HD 650 to bottom out. I waited a day too long: They went right back to full MAP. It's a moving target.

I hear you!  There is no way to predict this.

The only thing you can do is to firmly establish a price you're willing to pay, then wait for it.

If you miss it or it doesn't happen at all, oh well.  Patience will win the day, eventually.

That's better than acting impulsively on a series of five or ten dollar deductions.

It has gone down farther still - currently at $1102.03

$38 less than they were five and a half hours ago.

If you were already looking to buy it, $40 is loose change compared to the $1k price tag (and the risk of the price jumping back up). A bit like watching USD exchange rates, if you ask me..
