Worthy mention as it is a "deal" on its own without a discount, the Fostex THX00 Massdrop edition is to it's last 80 pieces. Get on or wait for the next drop which could be 3-6 months!!

or can wait for the inevitable pieces that will show up in the F/S section :p

A little explanation of AWD or Amazon Warehouse Deals since there seems to be some confusion for newer folks in the thread.

When amazon gets returns they check the merch and put it in the used category. Usually ships with prime shipping and comes in various states of good, like new, etc and varying prices depending on the condition. Like new and very good in the past for me has yielded pretty good results for me and it is mostly cosmetic box damage to some sort of degree.

Take the akg q701 for example of an awd

Check around for other headphones in the used section to see if your favorite headphone, amp, dac, dap, etc has good prices. But exercise caution if a price is too good not to get a pretty pink headphone instead of what you wanted.

Decided not to go with the Flare Audios.

Could anyone recommend some good IEM deals? These are the ones I've found so far:

Brainwavz M1 - $20
Vsonic VSD3 - $40
Hifiman RE400 - $60

I would probably prefer IEMs with a sound signature similar to the RE400. I would go with the RE400s, just not sure if they're worth 3x the price of the M1.

+1 for the RE-400, although admittedly I haven't heard the others.  I just got one, and it sounds great.  It stacks up surprisingly well against the much more expensive PFE232 that I just traded.

I'm good for one but I'm still curious- I've actually still not found any factual information that states that warranty on massdrop headphones (which as far as I can tell is dealt with directly through Fostex) is not transferable to a different owner. If you can provide anything that states otherwise, I'd be grateful. I've searched and the info is incredibly vague.

I almost bought these...

But they sold, so I got these instead....

Love them.. Listening to them now (but with shred of doubt that maybe the only ones sound even better!)j
