I'm good for one but I'm still curious- I've actually still not found any factual information that states that warranty on massdrop headphones (which as far as I can tell is dealt with directly through Fostex) is not transferable to a different owner. If you can provide anything that states otherwise, I'd be grateful. I've searched and the info is incredibly vague.

Well the TH900 came with a warranty card that anyone can fill out to get warranty through fostex

For those that missed out on the Sennheiser HD598 SE deal on Black Friday.........

It seems that those that have Amazon PrimeNOW nearby or within their location can order it from there and have it delivered within 2 hours or so and use a 10 dollar promo code to get it for $85.99

yup.....

$85.99
But you are kind of required to leave a tip (tip is actually inserted within the mobile app or on the site where it ask you how much tip you want to give)

Either way, you are getting a deal that was probably missed by several on these forums....

Promo code is PRIMENOW10

Good luck!

got this deal from overclock.net, from a user named tipsytoto, credit to him

Good for those that need to keep their DAC on 24/7.

Dang, just ordered and received the 1350 for the same price. Oh well.

Any comments on it so far?

Doesn't ship for 3-5 weeks.. still a great deal but i won't be able to use it this Sunday.

Are these acceptable for vintage stereos?  I ask because someone told me a standard UPS back up battery was not.

Any comments on it so far?

My CyberPower 1500VA Sinewave UPS has been running my PC and other electronics since 5/2013.  This provides simulated sine wave output, which is great for power supplies that use Active PFC (there are a lot these days).  I've been running my headphone audio on the 1000VA model for some time now, and it has never caused me issues.  I figured simulated clean power could help my audio system as well!

You would do well by naming the thing you are talking about.  I gather you mean the UPS. I wouldn't know how to employ it but that doesn't mean there is no way to use a UPS with older gear.  If it were more like an uninterruptable power source that's easier to envision its use with an older system.

Any more comments on audio improvements, if any? I'm currently using a Monster one, which I like quite a bit. However, it is quite ugly. This thing looks really slick.

15% off all AWD items for cyber monday!!

My wallet really, really, really hates this thread. I almost made it through Black Friday/Cyber Monday without a single audio-related purchase until the Fostex TH-X00 (earlier today) and an Audio-Technica R70x just now (again!). I don't even know why I got the R70x again, other than the fact that the AWD discount made it a screaming steal.

In any case, here are some other deals too:

Beyerdynamic DT990-250 (the used one, from AWD): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00193FT26/
AKG K812 brand-new for $995! http://www.moon-audio.com/akg-k812-reference-headphones.html

And although most of these deals are over now, some of them made me wish I had a lot more money, like the KEF LS50 deal: http://audio-head.com/the-audiophile-black-friday-cyber-monday-guide-2015/

That fostex thx00 is such a great deal compared to the original th series though, no brainer stuff. :)

+1
Agreed. Had no plans of getting another over-ear (thought LCD-X would be my endgame) but the Fostex sound at $400 is just too good to resist.
