RAZ's TOTL review and rambles thread, on life support

I think it's AAC? Someone who knows more about BT can confirm, I don't have a clue
It has AAC but this is a bit of a step down from LDAC (at least technically - we can argue all day about what can and can't be heard, of course).
BTR7 codec capabilities are AAC/SBC/aptX/aptX LL/aptX adaptive/aptX HD/LDAC

Yeah I plan on mainly using it as a dongle (at home, office etc), and bluetooth for when I'm walking around, where any difference will be even less audible

That’s what I wanted to ear 😅
Thx, I’m gonna get one soon then, depending on your feedback with BTR7 of course.
I bought a L&P W2 lately, but I am not convinced… The low end is too weak.
Musicality is missing somehow…
I like the W2 but it made all the iems (imo) sound similar and had this digital feel to them. Hard to explain.

It's a really "dominant" source - slaps a sort of filter on top of whichever IEM you've plugged into it. Makes its personality very easy to tell apart, but it's definitely not a good dongle to test IEMs with

Thx @doctorjuggles
AAC is compressed from what I read, so I hope that wired, the sound will be exceptional :D

Very much so! Thankfully golf in Barcelona goes all year round, so I get a fair bit of play in during winter too

I still hold hope for that golf bag photo

I actually owned this exact same Scotty a while back. Using a blade putter for the most part now, but I also have a Phantom X for the slower greens where I can swing more freely and get an actual line with my putter.

I ordered this super custom blade putter from Kraken, will post it here when done. Big thumbs up on the Callaways, I love their woods - Miura for irons at the moment. Golf gear is life

In other new, Viking Ragnar purchaseddddd

I carry two putters as well. When the greens have been rolled it is the blade. Love the gear (like audio) but I am a hacker. Off again this am. Prog On!

I'm really excited for it, but so far I haven't received tracking :frowning2: Hoping on next Monday

I am excited as well. quite unsure about a good pairing dap-wise. LPGT Ti could likely be too much (bright) for the Ragnar.
Your N8ii and Ragnar would make for a good combination I guess (... or is N8ii brighter than LPGT Ti ). Although N8ii should generally be excellent, I was hesitant to buy it because of the numerous "issues" mentioned by users in the respective thread; I got the impression that it is not for me but rather for those who benefit from a dap with a playground of different settings and adjustments.
Some time ago I decided to wait for SP3000. Let's see.
