Imo terrible - the treble becomes unbearably bright
Have you heard the Kann Alpha? It's on my radar for a future upgrade. The synergy with my E02 and Ely is so good that I probably won't be going there any time soon though.

I’m really not that much into DAPs, and the LPGT is exactly what I’m after really.. I’ve heard it has a warmer and thicker sound so I can’t own it as my only DAP either :/You really need to get hold of a HiBy R8

1Z has this lower treble peak so it does make the Ely (and Z1R) brighter. Although you can mitigate this with its excellent EQ. I actually used 1Z with Ely because of the EQ (not the R8).
