Rank the IEM's you've heard

Hum

1. Kaiser Encore universal (very picky with tips and cables and dap... but when you've got the key... waouh ! I find my "iem like HD800" dream)
2. U18 (too brief, it wasn't mine and it was at a meeting... but high-end potential)
3. Campfire Andromeda (the same observations as with Kaiser Encore but not as picky. By the way, the impedance of the dap must be very low, and the output must be very clean (no hissing). In my opinion, one of the BEST value of all TOTL, or sort of)
4. Fitear TG 334 (pure magic if correctly driven ; tips choice is very important too to get the best sonic balance)
5. Oriolus Oriolus (pure magic, very easy to drive, but a little "too polite" for my tastes)
6. Fitear A111 (special ALO version, rare : a really great iem : clarity and a natural musical trait)

And a lot of other candidates, but here there are my favorite iem :beerchug:

Updated :

1. Zeus XRA universal (G1 Modules) (picky with tips and cables... and dap (hissing...)... but when all is ok : THIS IS IT ! To my book, the final word in clarity and resolution and staging, for an UIEM)
2. Kaiser Encore universal (very picky with tips and cables and dap... but when you've got the key... waouh ! I find my "iem like HD800" dream)
3. Jomo Flamenco universal (too brief, it wasn't mine and it was at a meeting... but very high-end potential : balanced and just exceptionnal resolution, with a lot of autority too ; not completely my thing though)
4. AAW A900 universal (too brief, it wasn't mine and it was at a meeting... but high-end potential : very balanced in a reference way, but warm and never boring, gentle but energetic style)
5. U18T universal (too brief, it wasn't mine and it was at a meeting... but high-end potential ; maybe lack of real spirit to my taste -as the Jomo Flamenco in certain case- ; mainstream tuning, but at an extreme refinement)
6. Campfire Andromeda (the same observations as with Kaiser Encore but not as picky. By the way, the impedance of the dap must be very low, and the output must be very clean (no hissing). In my opinion, one of the BEST value of all TOTL, or sort of)

+

7. Fitear TG 334 universal (pure magic if correctly driven ; tips choice is very important too, to get the best sonic balance)
8. Oriolus Oriolus (pure magic, very easy to drive, but a little "too polite" for my tastes)
9. Fitear A111 (special ALO version, rare : a really great iem : clarity and a natural musical spirit)

I currently have the Sony MDR-7550s and I've been thinking about the EX1000. Is the jump that drastic?

I have both. EX1000 is miles ahead on imaging and detail imo. I once gave it to a musician friend of mine who demo’d it and took back what she said after I told her listening to it sounds like you can picture the singer/instruments.

MDR7550 is easier on the ears though. Less intensely detailed and warmer.

Wow, well looks like I'll have to try to get a pair then! You would be comfortable saying that it's better than the Campfire Andromeda though?

For me, yes. This thread is subjective after all.

The EX1000 bass response is just so tight and detailed. I like my bass :)

Ex1000 with 1z ( 1.20 firmware) + 4.4mm Forza " pyre " jumped on 1st place in my opinion ahead of my se5ult , pf-xg 20170809_000203.jpg 20180421_175146.jpg 20180917_002513.jpg and obravo eamt2c :)

To my ears, yes, the imaging is only bested by the Legend X and Zeus to me but it’s so subjective. Prices of IEMs in general have gone up a lot since it came out.

You can read here if you like more info: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/son...risons-to-fx700-gr10-and-e-q5.539500/page-250
Which one has the biggest soundstage? Ex1000 or legend x? Or is there other iems that has bigger soundstage? And do you think their soundstage is bigger than sennheiser hd700? I have the hd700 and I'm looking for a iem that have big soundstage like my hd700.
