Could somebody post a picture of your "Spacers" and how you install them? My apologies for the Noob question, I did a search of the Thread and couldn't find any.

Do you mean the distancers? You take a small amount of Blu-Tack (adhesive putty), put it on a flat surface and take another flat surface and roll it between those flat panes until you get a thin worm of putty that you fix to the rim of the distancer, then press the rim against the driver side of the headphone, so that you get an extra chamber in front of the 'speaker'. The ear pad gets attached to the distancer.

one of you crafty guys should go in the distancer buisness with all these wood skills.

LOL...I have a bunch of cups and sleeves that broke/didn't work out from when I first started experimenting that I think I held onto for just in case guys wanted distancers...if anyone is keen let me know dimensions and I'll see if I have something that will work...you can heave them for postage.

The part that's glued is stronger than the wood it's self.

I hope you can send them off today.

I put a 125i in the cherry cups and compared them with a stock 125e. The cherry 125i had better attack and decay and soundstage than the stock 125e.

This is not my mod, but it causes me so much pain to watch every step of this.

Yikes... how NOT to do a SennGrado mod.  Hardly seems worth the effort.  I've never had a Grado headband issue that the DT770 cushion couldn't solve.
