Anyone got info on ath-2100? Ive ripped those a part and these seem exactly identical to ath-2
Definately worth the priceshame i like the retro look too much, or i would mod them to pieces. It would be cool to recable those with 3.5mm jack. Would make kickass retro portables...even though naturally quite power hungry. Less than fostex t20...somewhere around hd600 id say. Without being restricted on simple damping mods, those could be some really extraordinary headphones. Nonetheless these headphones made me a believer on orto technology. Nicely narrows my next upgrade between hifiman and audeze![]()

Listening to my new (vary used) yamaha YH-3 and I'm digging the bass but not much else, won't pass judgment until i have used them for a few weeks. Any suggestions for replacement pads? They are worn pretty bad and I'm sure that's affecting the seal to my ear.
Listening to my new'ish yamaha YH-3 and I'm digging the sound but I'm just not the basshead i used to be.
Edited to better reflect my thoughts.
khbaur has an Audio Technica driver that is 150 ohm in his rare ATH-M2 I think it was called. It's posted up in here. The only 150 one i have heard of in that style is the ATH, well also the HP-50 type but that doesn't have the housing ring around the outside does it ? ( don't think so but I forget ATM ).
Link up here.
Can you feel how many holes there are underneath the damping there? Or shine an LED flashlight through . It would narrow it down.
Here's the photo you requested. 1 + 8 + 8 = 17 holes, all aligned.
And the size of the driver.
Thanks for your attention.
