No problem, thank you for your input/knowledge/assistance!  I hope to have an opportunity to hear Sensaphonics customs at some point in my life, and I am especially interested in the active ambient due to this info on the Sensaphonics site:
"Our latest product, the 3D Active Ambient (available spring 2006), achieves the same sound quality as the 2X-S in a single-driver design. This is possible because, for the first time, we are providing our own, controlled ("active") power source to the earphone. This enables Sensaphonics engineers to specify a single, custom speaker - one not used in any other IEM product - to achieve the same performance. (We will offer a dual driver version of the 3D Active Ambient.)"

Although that might be overkill for me since I don't really need it. But it does sound intriguing!

I use the 3DAA-1 system and it sounds amazing with my nano. Having a dedicated 9V power source for the system is the key. No more sharing voltage with the program source!

Even though I'm not in a band and not a working sound engineer, I find the 3D extremely useful. Hidden benefit: With no source attached, it acts as a variable-level, flat-response earplug system. Great on airplanes and any high-noise environent. At audio trade shows like NAMM, it's great to be able to "turn down the room" at will. So when the guitar demos are endlessly pumping, I can listen at a comfortable 76 or 80 and still hear everything that's going on, including prcise localization.

Interesting usage, so if I meet you in person you will have your 3DAA-1 in and be able to turn me off if you want, lol.  And is there any special circuitry that improved the sound vs. a normal amp?

@ Damnegy, thanks for the screenshot...I guess the first post can still be cut-off due to the ads.  I might need to switch the first and second post or figure something else out.

And I am glad you find the thread useful.  Please let me know if there is anything I left out.

Instead of a chart that goes left to right how about something that resembles more of a list that goes top down instead.

It should be OK now as I changed the table properties, slightly reduced font size and tested 5 browsers on my desktop.  Let me know if it cuts off the right for you, and please let me know the browser and Mac/PC.  Enjoy!

We really, really need someone to get some Thousand Sound customs. They blow Unique Melody out of the water in terms of customer base in China, yet we haven't had a single review here that I've seen.

@ a_tumiwa - added Insono and Rooth, thanks!  I had what seems to be a Rooth reseller though.  I already have Earpower in the manufacturers as well as my summary or the EP-10 Plus which I own.

@ Kunlun - added Thousand Sounds, thanks for reminding me.

So many customs...must...resist...buying...more...
