I have various drivers sitting around: Two pairs of V4 (one pair has grey shells and came in a set of wood cups) and I'm going to upgrade my V7s to V8, so does anyone want my unused drivers?

I'd be interested in knowing more about your V4 drivers ... Just attempted to PM you, let me know if these are still available!

Hi Amos, I've always been keen to scratch the DIY itch - if your V7's haven't found a home I'd be keen to give them a good one!I have various drivers sitting around: Two pairs of V4 (one pair has grey shells and came in a set of wood cups) and I'm going to upgrade my V7s to V8, so does anyone want my unused drivers?

Hi Currawong....I'd be interested in the V4 drivers too if i-am-iron-man hasn't gotten them already.
Thanks!

Hey Amos - I'm probably late in my response, but this northern neighbor (Canadian) could use those
V4 drivers in shells and cups. I just got home from a 6-week stay in a renowned respiratory rehab and
will have lots of time to get back to some serious DIY'ing.
Thanks my friend - Bryan

Thanks for the responses. I am trying to find the original classified where I bought the headphones that had the grey drivers to confirm what they are.
Both V4 pairs:
The greys were a variant much-loved by a few builders here that have since gone quiet. They were meant to be the better ones for having a solid midrange and minimal intrusion into it by the bass and treble.

For anyone interested, just got an email tonight that the Symphones V8's are on sale this week for 30% off. Great sounding driver if you haven't heard it.

I can't see any discount applied on their web site, do you have to use a promo code or something or is it just that the sale has not started yet?
Many thanks for the heads up!!!!

Whoops... sorry. Didn't actually go check myself. Copied from the email:
Use coupon SUMMER30 during checkout to save!
Sale ends Friday July 27th 2018. While supplies last.

I really don't need anymore headphones, but for the current prices I hope I'm able to snatch a pair of V8 drivers soon and start a new build!

Count me in! I've been curious to try some Symphones myself, and I can't resist 30% discount. How will these compare to stock Grado SR125 drivers?Beautiful build, congrats!

At full price, these are a bargain. 30% off is stupid value. Thx very much for the code.
Don't have access to FR charts atm but my understanding is they are outperform anything in the SR range below say a 325.
Where it becomes more comparable but with a different sound If more experienced headfiers know different, please say so.
