I only have a burson conductor at home..the grados sound very nice with the amp but from what i read in the answers here a nice tube amp would be worth to try out too

I remember when Burson Audio gear was all discrete, no ICs !! Now they use ‘discrete op amps’ …. Anyway, Grados are wonderful with Liquid Platinum (hybrid), Icon Audio HP8, LTA MZ3, Woo Audio WA6.

Just loving my Hemps today! I am going through my Best of the 80's playlist and everything sounds wonderful!

Chain is BF2 to Little Dot MK9 to Grado Hemp's w/Shipibo pads.

The Shipibo pads do add a bit of bass as I just tried the stock pads briefly.

FWIW: While I love my GH2 with the BA pads, I also do love the different flavour, that the Hemps provide with the flat-pads. Two different HPs

Hemp is a wonderful headphone. It gets the music right! and it is (here’s that word again!) jaunty. If one cannot enjoy Hemp, one must be cocooned in misery …

EDIT: The cushions for Hemp are TTVJ Deluxe Flats … F-cushions.

never seen a negative comment about the hemps, though read alot of hate on my RS1e which I adore. It gets acoustic guitars *perfectly*, although its the highest end grado I tried. Really makes me wonder if it gets better.

My friend have old original PS1000. Whats the diffrence in sound between PS1000 and PS2000? I was asking someday in other forums, but no one can told me a thing. I just got: "PS1000 is a batter headphone. This new E versions are crap" Thats all. And PS2000 was my object of intrest for some time.

The question is how much the PS500e would change if it was tuned to the new Grado sound. IMO the e version already sounds like X.

Has anybody bought the X series, 12 conductor extension cable?

I cannot seem to purchase it as it’s not available in the U.K. perhaps only US. Real bummer as I don’t want to be sitting upright anymore listening to the headphones.

FWIW: Just got new WE tubes for my iDSD DAC and wow I am a tube fan now. The Hemp's for juicy blues and the RS-1X for the more acoustic guitars

I fellow grado fans!

I have just recently got the rs2e's (loving it) and have put my sr325e's up for sale on classified.

Give me some good reasons to hold on to both. I want to. Just need to justify it.
