I am going to purchase a pair of headphones, which are mainly going to be used for gaming and music, mainly for gaming.
I have narrowed my choices down to these seven:

One of these headphones will be combined with an Astro mix amp + Optical cable to allow me to receive game sounds from my Sony PlayStation 3.
 
I want a pair of headphones which have fantastic sound and excellent sound stage so that i can direction the direction of sounds in game.

The only problem I have is “Which one should I buy? Which one is the best for music and gaming?”
 
Also if i were to buy this headphone and use it for gaming would i get the same gaming experience as if i were using a gaming headset? 

By that i mean "you can hear people sneaking up behind you "with a gaming headset, would this be the same for the headphones?
 
Also think you can find a better system?
 
Why not recommend one, my budget is £220.00

My vote would go for the following:
 
AH-D2000
DT990 250ohm or 600ohm (600ohm if  you have a source efficient enough to run them...such as an AMP or the Asus Xonar Essence ST sound card).
I would say the HD600 but why not just go for the HD650? They cost just a tad more and are much more balanced and relaxing than the HD600...otherwise no HD600.

I am going to use a Astro mix-amp along with the headphones.

So your best bet would be the AH_D200 or the HD650?
 
If i were to purchase the HD650 would they require an amp like the ones you mentioned above or would the Astro mix-amp be good enough?

In general I think the DT990/600 would be a good choice, but I don't know anything about that amp, so not sure if its up to the task of driving them well.  Worth a try though - you could always upgrade the amp later.
 
Those are all pretty good headphones on your list - they would probably all be good.

the dt990 would make an excellent choice, as would the dt880.
but, in my opinion, the dt990 more so.
 
reasons:
pinpoint imaging, and wonderful soundstage.  you'll def. be able to tell where the enemy is coming from.
explosive bass.
great sound.  great for gaming and for music.
the most comfortable headphone that i've ever worn.
built like a tank.

This is true. The DT990 does a wonderful job with gaming in my experience. My vote is for the DT990/600 as well.

The Beyerdynamic MMX 300 is a "premium dedicated gaming headphone", which has a headset mic and looks like the best in that class. Their MMX 2 is a their less expensive and more compact unit; they also have the MMX 1 and I am not sure what the difference is between the two. All three have USB inputs.
 

 
 
The Sennheiser PC 350 looks interesting also, is in-between the two Beyers in price and seems very well received. It has a dual PC audio jack as opposed to USB, and the microphone quality may be superior to the Beyers.
 

 
So it depends on how much you want to spend and how you want to plug it in; my caveat is that I am not a PC gamer and haven't heard any of these units. edit: Now that I have noticed that you are going to use it for a Playstation and not a PC, I would say that your choices are good, with the exception of the K701 being too hard to drive properly, and the SR125, which would be a step down in audio quality.

I have the ATH-A900 , victor SU-DH1 amp with optical cord and use the xbox chat-headset (with chat and game audio to headphones) hanging around my neck.

I think they come in 32/250/600 ohm ratings, with the 600 ohm being the hardest, but am not sure. Look at the 990 threads, here is a current one that I believe covers that somewhere.
