Moving On from UE 11 Pro - Need Recommendations
thank you for the recommendation though .. it's just that the UE11 is very competent and it's difficult to sell it off due to the custom faceplate and reshelling costs. so it would take a very special IEM to get me to move away from my UE11.- zhix78

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
My ear pads are peeling off as well, Oppo SG quoted me $100 SGD ( 72 USD ) for the replacement pads, I thought that's a crazy price !- zhix78

Astell&Kern Announces the AK300 and AK Recorder (5.6MHz DSD Recorder) at Tokyo Headphone Festival
Here's my review of the AK300. Bear in mind, I am mainly comparing the AK320 and AK300 as I was deciding which one to purchase after selling my AK100ii. http://geekyisthenewsexy.blogspot.sg/2016/06/astell-ak300-review.html Quote:- zhix78

Brand Spanking New A&K AK120II and AK100II
I used to own the AK100ii .. adding the Chord Mojo bought the music to another level altogether (on my Oppo PM3s). On good tracks (high quality, well mastered), the music sounds involving, warm and send chills up my spine.- zhix78

thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea
Yes I did. I found the AK320 more lush, richer and more emotional. When I listen the yoyo ma cello I can feel the chills going up my spine. Not with the Opus. Although the opus was very good with the soundstage, the sound signature was a bit too cold and clinical for me.- zhix78

thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea
I actually did a side by side testing with the store's AK320 .. the AK320 although did not have the same wide soundstage, it had a warmer, more emotional sound signature as compared to the Opus.- zhix78
