Hi all,

I need some help to narrow down recommendations from upgrading from Ultimate Ears Custom 11 Pro.

Source: A&K Kann
Budget: 700 - 1000 USD
Perference: IEMs, Closed Back, Universal Fit
Type of Music: All Rounded in terms of frequency: Pop, Classical, Opera, Vocals, Rock, Dance
Current Rig: IEM (UE 11 Pro), Travel Headphones (Sony WH-1000X), Home Headphones (Audeze el-8 titanium).

So basically, my ears are itchy for an upgrade from my UE 11 Pro. I was recently blown away by Audeze LCD-XC (Closed Back) but it's just not practical for commuting and listening to in the office for long hours but it did suggest to me that my Kann has more potential than what i think and I am trying upgrade from my existing UE 11 Pro to something better. I am a bit tired of fighting with the custom fit and realise universal fit can fit better and isolate and sound better than custom fit (personal experience, not saying that its the same for everyone). So I am looking for an upgrade to my UE 11 Pro , to a universal fit model and can provide a better sound as compared to my UE11 Pro.

Thank you in advance for all recommendations !

Might be worth reading about an Andromeda. People seem pretty happy with it.

Tried the Andromeda ... it's really good .. but not good enough to make me want to retire my UE11

thank you for the recommendation though .. it's just that the UE11 is very competent and it's difficult to sell it off due to the custom faceplate and reshelling costs. so it would take a very special IEM to get me to move away from my UE11.
