If you are using an iPhone, in the wifi select page, try click the 'i" icon on the right side of the screen to enter Poly hotspot setup, in that screen, uncheck auto login, and check auto join. Your phone should be able to connect to Poly's hotspot.

When choosing wi-fi, instead of click the Poly SSID, click the "i" icon on the right side, then in the page, make sure the "auto logging" is checked.

When this is happening, does that means we can connect Poly to DAC's other than Mojo?

I encounter the same after update firmware, reboot poly and iPhone with no joy. Then I reboot my router and Bingo, it works like before now. I suspect it has to be something with the router side, same MAC address but different Poly firmware may stop Poly from being recognized a DLNA renderer.

My guess is Chord does not develop Poly's own app, they design Poly to adept existing apps. And if I recall correctly I can't remember any MPD or DLNA app that uses bluetooth for controlling playback.

 There is one app called "allstream" that lets you stream to airplay devices with any other apps you are using. Downside is it's not free and rooting is needed.

Actually there are some discusses about Airplay over personal hotspot. Including video airplay which is not possible via bluetooth. You can simply search "airplay personal hotspot" on google and find some.

Are you sure about this? using hotspot for airplay streaming service apps is what Poly is demoed on every show/expo. and the Poly video #5 are showing hotspot use case and the title of the video is "AirPlay playback"

  The SD card UI is most likely to be MPD based. Although haven't tried, I think MPD player app should be fairly easy to use, because it is an opensource interface.

        Don't forget, the main purpose of Poly is to eliminate the transport devices except your daily use smartphone, and the cable between Mojo and phone. Another iOS device as transport is kind of waste IMO.
