Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
I personally believe so. The only reason I went with the Centrance is because of the termination. I thought the xduoo and centrance were very close in performance. They don't replace a desktop, but for portable and simplicity of setup, it's hard to beat.- ukeyoner

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
I use an Centrance Hifi-M8 V2 and it's great. Has a full size xlr headphone out, bluetooth, and an eq implementation much like the ifi bass boost. It also seems to have the most power out of portables. I also had the xd05 bal and returned it. It was as good as the M8 to my ears, but didn't have...- ukeyoner

Rank the IEM's you've heard
I listened to the Tia and U18T at axpona last year for at least an hour, going back and forth between the two. Loved the U18T. It's sound actually haunts me. I listened to all of the TOTL iems that day and I ended up buying a campfire vega, which I also love, but the U18T is my end game.- ukeyoner

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
I agree, there's value in the journey. But if you can cut some corners along the way, ie: audition before you buy, you will save yourself $100's if not $1000's of dollars. I'm not sure there's any value to my drawer full of iem's and headphones, sitting unused. I do love me a good ribeye...- ukeyoner

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
I would think the fxa6 would be the best value in the Fender line. Depends on how important bass is to you. For headphones / IEMs the best value would be to buy a TOTL as soon as you could afford one and skip buying all the "affordable" ones along the way. Lol!- ukeyoner

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
I auditioned all of the models. The fxa2 is a really good performer, but lacks the refinement of all the other models, but still really good. The fxa6 is probably the best all-rounder, almost identical to the fxa7, minus that last little bit of detail and clarity in the highs. The fxa7 could be...- ukeyoner

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
I would stay away form LH Labs. I own a Geek Out, a Geek Pulse XFI and an LPS 4. Of the 3 products, only the Geek Out hasn't been sent back for repairs. The Pulse XFI, I had send back again a second time, because then sent it back to me nonfunctioning, AFTER A REPAIR! This has been going on for...- ukeyoner

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Been going back and forth with the fxa6 and fxa7 and I have to say again it's pretty close. The bass between the two I would say is identical. I know the 7 supposedly has more bass, but I'm not finding that to be true. The fxa6 is slightly warmer in my opinion. I'm noticing better instrument...- ukeyoner

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Just picked up the fxa7, 6, 5, and 2 to do some comparisons, with the idea of keeping one. Opened the 7 and 2 and I have to say it pretty close. I would say the fxa2 has 80-90% in sound signature fxa7. The fxa7 has the edge in clarity, but that is pretty close also. For $140, the fxa2 seems to...- ukeyoner

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
I've just received some HD650's and have been a/b'ing them for a few days through a Geekout dac. I personally think they are pretty similar to the X1's having more bass like others have already stated. But difference in bass is considerable. I think the 650's have a slight edge in detail, and I...- ukeyoner
