I was at Borders yesterday, home of overpriced pop and fluff, when walking thru the jazz section, I spotted The Detroit Experiement CD. Being familiar with the Philadelphia Experiment disc, I popped on the cans and selected the disc from the listening display... immediately I was blown away...

I second the vote for the PX200s. I find that they are driven quite nicely from my iBook and reproduce music and DVDs very well. I cannot comment on their in-flight use, but I notice that they isolate pretty well for me. I've not tried them but the PX250s may also be worth looking into. Bobes

Based on the price points for the PX 100, I would expect these new "street-style-senns" to go for between $20 and $30. I have not actively researched these yet so I don't know if or when they will be available in the US. This is just a guess! Bobes

I find that placement of my PX200s is critical. The ear cups are so small that unless they are sitting just right, the character of the sound I experience changes. However I do not find the correct placement that hard to find, provided I am wearing them as designed... over the top of the head...
