Ultimate Ears 700 Dead - Advice for new IEMs!!
ha too many head fi-ers prefer UE 700 over TF10, but UE products have a life span less than 24 months(left driver dead in ue700/bad cable design for the ue metor-fi). How ever in the sub $100 region the JVC fxt40/fxt90/FD IMO great for running.- zfmduel

IEM for under $150
What source do you use?(320kbs mp3/flac/etc) Do you use a portable amp? What headphone are you using now? Personally I really like my Ortofone eq5 and for its superior details and deep bass impact its a good choice for any genre music. JVC FXT90 great details and comfort. But if you are serious...- zfmduel

In which one you wear your player and amp ?
If you are aware of the people around you put it in a case. I used to have a ipod 5g+minibox amp in a nintendo ds hard case attached to my belt. Now I use sony z1050> fiio LOD>zo2 amp as my portable setup(pocket friendly).- zfmduel

Without Fiio LOD Cable Makes a Huge Difference?
^ I have a ipod 5,5 >fiio L3>zo3. The LO is very clean, not as recessed in sound stage compare to the 3.5mm HP out. Draws more power from the LO, then again I do have the option for high/low gain in the zo3. Great value! the fiio L3 and L9 both utilize the PCOCC-A (copper) & HPC-22...- zfmduel

thinking of getting a pair of RE0's , have a few questions first...
I say about 30-50 hours and you will notice wider sound stage and better bass respond but ideally 100-200 hours your source for burn in is fine but you can check out http://www.burninwave.com/ try not to "burn in" on maximum volume as you may "accidentally" the RE0, and let it rest every few...- zfmduel

I had the Re0 since Late Feb and I love it! I was hunting for a bargain at first and when I received mine I was like"meh" then after 50 hours the bass starts to kick in and mids is much warmer now after 200 hrs I ditched my full can(srh840) and removed the filter, much more sharper but that is...- zfmduel
