The Beyerdynamic Tesla DT 1350 Impressions thread
Not quite a Dt1350. Aventho sounds like a consumer headphone. Though, it seems due to its tuning and not necessarily a shortcoming of the tesla driver. Been trying out tuning mods to make it sound close to a dt1350- Jnjy

What is massive paralleslism in IEMs good for?
Science class is over. Nothing more can be said. I don’t question preference with multi driver devices. Some musicians are, pardon the harshness, sponsored. Nothing wrong with that, but it begs the question of whether they really prefer those or otherwise. Audiophiles enjoy music, and to the...- Jnjy

What is massive paralleslism in IEMs good for?
“Sound so good” is subjective. I’m not arguing there. If it’s good for you, that’s great to me.- Jnjy

What is massive paralleslism in IEMs good for?
It isn’t surprising that live performances with “gazillions of speakers” are attended by folks who resort to alcohol and other unpronounceable substances to compensate for or hide the lack of sonic quality. Hey, I go to venues like that too and sonic quality is not my main motivation. Phase...- Jnjy

What is massive paralleslism in IEMs good for?
Not really a secret that “parallelism” benefits the business aspect. More drivers crammed allows higher margins. Its just how consumers minds work, that business folks tap into. On the technical side, having multiple independent drivers actually introduces phase issues.- Jnjy

Portable or over ear cans for recommendation
First, welcome to the journey. Price isn't everything. Second, a great source works wonders. Esw9 is more than capable paired to a great source. Compressed sounding definitely has to be due to the source.- Jnjy

How are dynamic drivers so...dynamic?
There's IE800 and T8ie (super expensive and super high end pure dynamic). I'm in the camp who thinks the BA fad is indeed marketing. It's what's considered "hot" right now, thus, its where the money is. Earphone dynamic diaphragms are small, thus light, thus easy to control its motion than full...- Jnjy

How do DACs/DAPs make a significant difference in sound quality?
Each one of them have their own unique mix of electronic components and circuit designs. Generally, some designs would be better put together than others. Not every designer would have the same skill as another. Some designs have components selected to produce better cost to consumers at the...- Jnjy

The Beyerdynamic Tesla DT 1350 Impressions thread
How about bending the yokes in? Top part of my ears are a bit more outward than the bottom so I bent the yokes to follow that angle. It used to be that I get fatigue only on the tops of my ears . After bending, pressure seems to be better distributed.- Jnjy
