Anyone find any decent cases for the Vision:m? I found one...
I hear ya on the 60GB... I filled up 30GB just sorting through my VBR collection which only accounts for 40% of my collection! Where am I supposed to put those movies to play on this fabulous screen?- pikawel

What are the hot portable options $300ish these days? (Out of the loop for a while)
Hey all, My NJB3 has been collecting dust ever since I quit my old job (one where I had to leave the house!) I've picked up a modern day MP3 player in the Vision:m and I fear the META42 is a bad match Last time I was really poking around in these boards, the SR-71 and the SuperMacro (not...- pikawel

Anyone find any decent cases for the Vision:m? I found one...
http://www.i-nique.co.uk/ShowDetails.asp?id=358 Expensive AND out of the country... not to mention I'm not so keen on the colors. Has anyone found something similar stateside? Right idea but not 100% on the execution... I'd like to take this thing out of the house but I fear for its...- pikawel

opinions of Xin Supermacro options
I'd also like to know. I'm still comfortably sitting on the fence with my wallet in hand but susceptible to that small gust of wind that may cause it to drop in either Xin or Ray's backyard. When I look at Xin's page, I think, "Oh wow, look how cheap it is... ohh, hmmm, options... well, you...- pikawel

What are you worth walking around?
Sorry for the off-topic... It was like $270 shipped with the Elpac power supply that I wish I could say I use. It has both 1/8th and 1/4th outputs, who knows how many buffers, the nice ALPS pot (with the knob that fell off), and all kinds of whatnots and whathaveyou's. 2 9V operation...- pikawel

Pantera/Damageplan fans...
Yeah, this is bull****. He was an awesome guitarist who created some of the most memorable metal riffs of the 90's. I just don't think metal guitarists are meant to live very long. RIP Dime, though I can't hardly manage any of your tunes on the six string, I won't hold it against you...- pikawel

Will the RS charger automatically shut off when it no longer needs charging? Is that a mechanism in the charger or in the actual jukebox?- pikawel

Where's all the Supermacro threads?
No, erikzen, I did not see Zanth's review until you posted that link! Thanks for that. Luckily, I don't have expendable cash anymore (thanks, girlfriend's birthday) so I can sit on the sidelines and wait for the impressions and comparisons to roll in. Really, the only two amps I'm considering...- pikawel

Where's all the Supermacro threads?
Since my deal on a used SR71 with another user seems to have gone by the wayside, I'm looking for amplification alternatives. The Supermacro seems promising but I've only read the one thread where someone has really heard it. What gives? Are there shipping difficulties? I really want to...- pikawel

Headsave Classic / DT250-250
You'll get all the detail you can out of 128Kbps mp3's. You may want to look into either some higher quality VBR or 192Kbps. If you use soulseek, message [w]eL (that's me - I'll tell you how I encode my files.- pikawel

Headsave Classic / DT250-250
I don't know much about the headsave configurations but anything with 2 9V's does the trick. This isn't to say anything else won't work, I'm just verifying that my META42 can do it Sorry if this was totally pointless!!- pikawel

Best MP3 Portable Audio Source ?
Those best MP3 player polls are a bust and no one should make a buying decision based off of one. Especially when your main consideration is sound quality. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the Nomad Jukebox 3 via the line-out is still the undisputed king of portable sound quality. Since...- pikawel

Ohhkay... this should prove difficult
That's exactly how I'd describe them. I've listened to every rock variation through these phones but I cannot comment on how the handle classical music. I have listened to huge arrangements of instruments though... music like Godspeed You Black Emporer and such. I think they do everything well.- pikawel
