[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC

Hi, Recently upgraded my M11 to 1.0.9 and now I have no output on the 3.5mm socket. This is if the unit is set to PO LO or SPDIF. I've done a restarted, factory reset and its still the same on Spotify, FiiO Music or Tidal. Is their anything else I could have missed? It was working fine on...

[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC

Weird, I was just looking into the same thing and about to post! It doesn't mention the M11 I guess as it pre-dates it but they are both TRRS 3.5mm. On the M11 adapter the tip and first ring at the end are unconnected - the sleeve and ring closest to it are used. I would hope they use the same...

The All-in-one Thread to Address Any Inquiries to FiiO Product Lineup ,Future Plans,Product Functions and Features

Really enjoying my new M11 @FiiO, it's a credit to all involved. I was hoping that you could improve the functionality of the skip forward/backward physical buttons so that a a long hold or double-tap-hold would scrub through the track rather then skipping it. I've noticed that if you...

[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC

Once can only assume that the inbuilt DAC feeding all the analog outputs, processes the audio directly. I'm pretty sure that was one of the reasons FiiO went with the Exynos 7872?

[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC

Not wanting to sound facetious but does it really matter with Spotify? I would think with anything but the FiiO app it's up to the individual developers to implement bit correct USB output? One can only hope that the M11's inbuilt DAC takes its stream from further "upriver"....

Agree it's confusing, further does that apply (either way actually) to the USB-out, SPDIF-out or both?

Well I received my M11 yesterday and I have to say as my first DAP in years, I think this thing is amazing. I've got zero interest in using it for anything but audio, so I was never concerned about matters relating to Google Play or Android 7. Less apps the better AFAIK. I'm mostly an iOS user...

    Poll: Closest to Perfect Bass...

I had to go for the HD-650s though I stil have a soft spot for the HD-25's... Then again if it's full-range (full effect) bass I'm looking for, none of my headphones make the grade. Amp and speakers all the way!

Effect of adhesive heatshrink on sound

I look forward to the inevitable DIY tutorial on how to cryo and burn-in your clear adhesive heatshrink! I'm pretty sure extensive listening tests will also prove it's directional too... you must slide the tubing on in the direction of the audio signal...

New Millett Hybrid MiniMAX (what happened to this thread?)

Yeah, Sonic Craft and Percy are definitely the places to go. Though I don't think I'll be doing much O.S. buying until the Aussie dollar improves!

220v step down transformer for UK mains?

It really shouldn't matter. 220v gear runs fine on 240v

Are studios recording new cd's way too loud? I'm hearing clipping all over the place

That has to be the most simplistic head-in-the-sand solution I've heard! Not all remasters are bad either... not by a longshot.

    Does Crossfeed Shrink Soundstage

I'd have to agree with what most people have said on the crossfeed. It's horse for courses and it definitely has it's uses. The only possible exception is the implimentation of crossfeed and speaker placement that the Phonitor uses. It's pretty clever and subtle in all the right ways...
