My favourites are the Bugatti Veyron and the Porsche GT3...

Ooops sorry, wrong thread!

Edit: Actually I have to be honest that 307a really does look good on paper and in the pictures...

I've just begun to listen to it, but I can already tell you that the Red Wine Audio Isabella belongs on the list.

Not that I've heard all the top amps, but as of yet I haven't heard anything best a maxed-out, tuned-for-headphone SDS-XLR; especially with the right tube mix for the right headphone and/or music.

I'd love to have a direct comparison between an SDS-XLR, 307A and B-52.... I bet it would be quite interesting.

Having heard the 307A at a recent meet on the ED9's, I'd stack my Jamato-modded WA6 up against it anytime. I have some experience with the Cary 300sei, and prefer the Woo.

My favorite tube amp for dynamic headphones is a Bizzy Bee modified Fisher 400X receiver (EL34 output tubes). I have kept this amp and like it better than the following in direct comparisons:

Cary 300 SEI
Moth S2A3
Berning MicroZOTL
Cary SLI-80

My headphones I prefer with this amp are my LS3000 and CD3000.

Sorry for the off-topic post, but LS-3000?

Ah, I figured, but thought I'd post on the off chance that they were a modded headphone or custom job.

SDS-XLR for Dynamics and my Sennheiser HEV-90 for electrostats. I know the HEV-90 might not be the best sounding amp for the HE90 any more but it comes so darn close to my ES-1 while being super reliable.

In a word, yes.

One of the few chances to own it, that's for sure.
