Well I had a problem with my original iGrado's, seems after 5 years they developed a short around the phono plug and were putting out sound only to one side. I figured these were $60 so I guess they could be considered "disposable". But I decided I would contact Grado to see if they would fix...

I just bought a pair, after listening to them in the store I liked what I heard initially but listening at home I find that I don't like the bass from them, not the most boomy but too much for my taste's. Supremely comfortable on the head but I will be returning them.

I have the E-3's and luv them, I'm not a bass head and I also luv the Grado sound. Just my observation.

I have been experimenting with my MS-1's but I have to lie flat on my back to use them, I use my Apple in ears ifI'm going to roll on my sides. I usually shuffle my whole library in my ipod so no one set list of music.
