I'd say take a step back and get a cheaper canalphone. Something like EP-630 doesn't isolate too much to be a problem, you can hear if something is really up but otherwise it's bliss. And you don't need perfect sound quality on the road anyway. Microphonics are an issue with pretty much anything...

Wallet in back right pocket, keys/change/smoking paraphernalia in front right pocket, phone/pen/gum in front left pocket. If I'm in a gig or somewhere else I don't feel in full control of what's going on in my back pockets, the wallet goes into my front right too. Anything else feels so so wrong.

Addendum - only 'official' Creative EP630s, like the ones sold retail in Europe, have the Y-cord - the Chinese ones on Ebay have an L-cord.
