i have both and the HD600's as well. i would choose the HD650's (HD600 if it is an option) as it is more balanced and more natural sounding thus you can wear for an extended period of time. The stock D5000 is too bass-heavy (& sloppy) and there may be a little bit of resonance if you ask...
