Mod, can you create a poll for this? After reading through a quarter of the huge Sennheiser HD-800 thread, I am curious to know how interested people are towards the newly released phones. I did a quick search and didn't see this topic yet but feel free to combine/delete this thread if it already has been posted.

Poll: Are you planning to get the Sennheiser HD-800 in the future?

A) Already pre-ordered!
B) Yes, I already started counting my change.
C) Maybe, but needs to see more thorough reviews and comparisons against other high-end cans like (R10, Stax, K1000, GS1000, HE90/60, L3000, Edition 7/8/9, etc...)
D) No, too expensive for me.
E) Nah, Sennheiser signature is not for me.

I think I'll go for C, but it'll be in a distant future

$1400USD is extremely steep. The end.

I think I'd prefer speakers for that money.

E.

I prefer Denon. And I would guess a Denon D9000, or D10000 could arrive before too long.

I'll pass on the Senns, although I know they'll be amazing.

I really want to buy them. I have yet to try Sennheiser sound signature (apart from my cheap gaming headphones), but since I've already bought very much, I'll have to wait until I can mentally justify buying a third, or fourth pair of cans.

F) Probably won't have enough bass for me so no.

Going with C. But I'll have to hear them myself first, and I won't pay $1400. I expect them to come down to around $1000 after some time, and even then, I'll likely look for a used pair for around $750-$800.

Oh....and someone will have to make a HD800 smiliey first
