Modding Monoprice 8323 (With Pictures)
Sorry to revive this ancient thread. With these mods you're into this for $60-$70. How do these compare to other headphones in that price range? Thanks.- mektarus

soo... i picked up a pair of ksc75's....
If you add resistance to the KSC75 it smooths out and sounds even better. I have a 75 ohm adapter cable that I use with all of my Koss 60 ohm phones (KSC75, KSC50, KSC35, UR40, A250, Sportapro, Portspro)- mektarus

Need a headphone for ~$100
If you can find a used pair of Beyer DT831's you should be able to get them for well under $100. Although no longer in production, they are one of the best sounding closed cans you can buy.- mektarus

Ok, I just noticed that the KSC55/BKH3 do, in fact, use the titanium version of the Koss 60ohm driver. This means that they should sound very similar to the KSC75. All you need to worry about is the fit.- mektarus

My vote goes to the Beyer DT831. They aren't made anymore, but still show up for sale occasionally.- mektarus

How about these?
Well, I am still quite intrigued by these. I am in no position to buy these right now, but surely someone is curious enough to give them a try. I mean, these could be the next, best deal ever.- mektarus
