I did a complete pad & driver guard mod to my KSC75's and KSC35's. But I put OEM pads back on, they are more comfortable, as the mesh could rub on your ear when putting them on, or taking them off.

the headband mod was a necessity for me. the earclips never worked well with my ears.

If you add resistance to the KSC75 it smooths out and sounds even better. I have a 75 ohm adapter cable that I use with all of my Koss 60 ohm phones (KSC75, KSC50, KSC35, UR40, A250, Sportapro, Portspro)

Just re-cabled my ksc-75's with some heavy duty mogami quad microphone cable. I'm not a fan of drilling into plastic of headphones but the re-cable definitely cleans up the bass and smooths out the high frequencies a tiny bit. On the downside however the cable is heavy as a mother (especially at 6') and I didn't have access to any 1/8" plugs so it's running 1/4".

Will adding a sennheiser 1/4" to 1/8" add some impedence?
