Upgrade from GR07

Again, you're talking in generalities. Also note the background Ety ER-4P chart. I've experience with that model, not as good as I'd like, and Sony looks even more extreme.
I actually cut 6k on most IEMs and certain headphones with eq because it sounds quite a bit louder than the rest.

Bottomless bass is good, but if there's not enough energy, it's not good enough. Since the graph tells it's similar in amount to Etys, I bet it will be somewhat too little. By colder I meant I prefer linear bass to the warm hump. (which Westones, SA6, GR07 sport in various amount)

I haven't seen the GR07 graph but I think its treble sounds a good bit hotter than the Sonys. If you decide to try them, you should definitely purchase from someplace like Amazon where it's easy to return. Then no big deal if you don't like the treble. The Sony bass extension is the best I've heard. That large driver is just effortless with fantastic texture.

Out of everything else I've tried, I can't think of anything else close to your requirements. Good luck hunting.

Uhm, yes, extra peaks can make it sound worse, but of course even one peak sounds pretty bad - harsh or grainy.
This specific one causes soundstage collapse and nasal sound (to my ears). The 2k boost is not welcome either, this will make the IEMs sound overly "intimate" and some vocals will be misplaced too close.

On the other hand, the 10k peak looks almost perfectly placed.

Oh, and I can't find an authorized dealer selling these in Poland or to Poland. I'll check all 3 Sony Centers around here, maybe I'll be pleasantly suprised.

Peaky is fine, as long as the peaks are precisely in my ear nulls and not in resonances.

This is raw data - the more reproducible kind; bottom two are compensated unsmoothed data, similar as on that graph with EX1000.
The somewhat old eq with SA6, Comply T-100 and deep insertion: http://cdn.head-fi.org/3/31/31ea7280_SA6-flat-E.png
And this is the adjustment graph between raw and compensated:

This part will be different from listener to listener. I should attempt to recover my own HRTF based on headroom's raw data and SA6 once I get a new cable. (I bet they used silicone tips.)

W4 was tested with shallow single flange fit and synergized with my ears almost perfectly. I don't know if perfectly since I didn't have the eq or time to do it on hand, but it was pretty close.
